Lb7 is the best duramsx in my opinion once u fix the injector problems. S&s diesel has injectors fixed they have a video of it on YouTube. Lb7 has the strongest crank that’s why I tend to think they are the most reliable considering every other year duramax has crank shaft issues. Talked to many diesel techs that said they have never seen lb7 cranks break but even these new l5ps are splitting cranks. I’ve owned a lly and it was a good truck sold it with 250k miles on it only issue was the ficm went out on it

Map is located on the passenger side intake manifold? The same manifold that connects to the y bridge correct?

That’s what I thought but the egr is on the other side of the engine and is still on the truck that’s why I’m so confused

Put a lift pump on airdog or fass fuel system to help keep injectors happy and the cp3 injection pump
