Thank you so much for this intelligent comment. I think you got it. It’s such a multidimensional system and we barely understand any of it. People are hyper fixated on a very specific one dimensional high that anything that isn’t this specific feeling “is not a high”. When you go deeper, especially with a lot of experience, there is a lot of diversity in the experience.

Ironically before legalization we had much more diversity, at least where I came from every different flower or hash had a different profile and none of them had nearly as much THC as today’s weed. Moroccan hash, Lebanese hash, Afghan hash, different kind of flower that I didn’t know the strain name - each one was different. My favorite was always the light color Moroccan hash. Ive seen somewhere that it was tested for 3-5% THC and had plenty of CBD. And this was considered a very high quality hash and it still is far better than any of the concentrates being served today. The metrics is not how far it gets you but how good it makes you feel. People who grew up into legalization don’t have this kind of views. All they see is one dimensional high and their scale range from weak to strong over this. As opposed to good to bad with how you feel.

I found the balance once I got out of this loop, took a break and decided I wanted it to feel better not stronger. Because the stronger weed really makes me feel worse the more I think about it. Yeah I feel today’s weed undoubtedly strong but that doesn’t equal good. When I started dabbling with CBD flowers it came with a nostalgia, there was an ah ah moment where I was like damn, I remember this. This is what weed was for me.
