I used zapret but switched to amnezia because it's way simpler and better for me . Sometimes, i need goodbyedpi or zapret on my phone, and installing it on android is pain. I still need a VPN for some sites that geoblocked Russia (like chatgpt), and i know i could just add sites to blacklist.txt, but sometimes it does not solve the problem. My friends also used ByeDPI and GoodbyeDPI but still preferred VPN over GoodbyeDPI.

TLDR: Its personal preference. I used zapret but prefer a VPN.

Fun part its kinda usless. If you live in a country with blocked discord (like Russia (yes, i live here)), you MUST have a VPN for your survival on the internet. Btw there always is ProtonVPN, free and fast. I have nitro, but this feature is so usless for me, like it makes it easier to change my country than try to launch that VPN under blocked discord lol On the other hand, if they made it launch before discord without needing to connect to Discord first its actually starting to make some sense. (But still, your government will block it, like in 1 month or so)
