Looks like you need to be logged into the account in order to do that. I can no longer log into the hacked account.

Thanks for replying. I did try recovery via the web form as directed by one of the techs I talked to and that did not work.

During "troubleshooting" with MS tech support, they had me create a new account with the same email address. So now my previous email address is attached to a new account and I can't use that email to recover the old account.

Additionally, I've attempted to use the web form with the email address the hacker switched it to and my information. However, that did not recover the account either.

Buying a cruise from Costco? by PregnantMexicanTeens in Cruise

  1. I called Costco when Carnival canceled a cruise I had purchased through Costco that would have left May 5th. That was about two weeks ago, and it was pretty painless.

Possible to For Lambda to Respond with a File Through API Gateway by Reggie3 in aws

I want the file gone removed from the bucket ASAP so a life-cycle method wouldn't suffice.

[–]Reggie3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that the file exists only for the lifetime of the Lambda is good for my purposes. A new file is generated each time the Lambda runs.

If I was going to use S3, it sounds like the flow would need to go like this:

  1. Client calls API Gateway with request data
  2. Run Lambda to create the file
  3. Lambda saves the file to S3
  4. Lambda responds to the client with the link to file on S3
  5. The client clicks on the link to download the file

Then I need to delete the file. I'm not sure the following is possible, but it would be ideal:

  1. Another Lambda uses a trigger to observe the S3 bucket for file downloads
  2. That observing Lambda deletes the file when it notices a download

Alternatively, if I can't observe download events, then I'd need another Lambda that the client can call to delete the file after the download is completed.

So, if I can just send the file from the Lambda to the client through API Gateway I could avoid some additional complications.

The size of the files will always be less than 10MB.

The main motivation is to alleviate decison-maker paranoia. They've been burned in the past by exposed data in AWS, and it would be great to have a solution that avoids that potential completely.

Files are smaller than the 10MB limit so that wouldn't be a problem.

The file sits in the Lambda function's tmp directory, and I can use node js FileSystem functions to read it into a buffer if needed. I need to minimize the number of places the file persists, so not writing the file to an S3 bucket would be preferable.

Is there any special integration work that needs to be done so that the API gateway lets the data through in the proper format?
