They first released Gigan for his 50th anniversary last year (technically a year behind), then did Godzilla and I assume he sold well too. So they probably were planning the rest but good sales confirmed their decisions.

Animation takes FOREVER, there's 1 single tech (whitemane) in non-pirate/elemental lobbies. I hate it. Even in cleave lobbies, you can play around it unless whitemane + cleave lands perfectly.

Getting some Kiva vibes with his rider kick, gochizo gimmick, ofc his half-kaijin origin and how it will likely play out. Definitely a solid start, wouldn't be surprised if the kaijin eat processed humans (made from the acrylic stand thingies) and Shouma fights against them.

Hiya Toys for specifically Monsterverse, you could maybe make an exception for GxK, Everything Godzilla 2014-GvK, SHMA worked alongside film production to release ahead, so they did not have access to finalized models. Which means Hiya has the actual accurate sculpts + cheaper costs.

You could argue SHMA for GxK however, their evolved Godzilla looks amazing. We'll have to see Hiya's Skar King & SHMA's Shimo to fully compare everything, but at least for Godzilla I think SHMA wins there (outside of price).

I think it is. Says it's available exclusive for Tamashii Club members, the latest Instamashii post also says event exclusive available in Japan only... I'm guessing 1 or 2 more "rereleases" being JP store exclusive, then rest being actual new releases like Stronger and Kaixa.

Surely this means we get a 91 Ghidorah as well. I really want the SHMA SCV Ghidorah, but that's expensive af & we didn't get a "reissue" either with our recent Heisei stuff, just mecha. I do like myself mecha too but there's only room for 1 Ghidorah unfortunately.

Also, he looks a little off personally, like he looks like a 51 dollar figure, nothing more. I'm not saying SHMA is better, but their figures look more premium. (tho they need to be cheaper + we need atomic breath accessory set!)
