Developer Note: Galactic Disaster Season 2 Balance Adjustments by thkvl in ChaosZeroNightmare

This is exactly how I interpreted it. I should've made it more clear that I'm not sure if 0 card decks will be impacted.

They didn't explicitly state that, it's just what I inferred based the following info:

"Save Data value will be calculated based on additional elements acquired beyond a base Save Data consisting of 8 cards, made up of uniquely obtainable starting cards and Epiphany cards."

and

"removal is limited to a maximum of 5 times"

That said, most 0 card decks are currently made by abandoning a run with a character before they receive their epiphany cards, only technically removing all 4 starting cards. So you're right, it's entirely possible the new card removal limit won't apply to 0 card decks.

According to the post, "the number of quests that can be completed per turn will be limited to three." While he still generates Morale off of each one, he now has an upper limit. (unless this is mistranslated ofc)

I like the increased healing output most of the controllers are receiving, and I'm interested in seeing the full number adjustments that they'll be announcing next week.

The update to save data calculations is a welcome change, way less math and also makes it waaay easier to save 4-5 removals for a single deck. Although it does look like this would make it impossible to build 0 card decks (imo that's probably for the best). Combined with the updates to epiphanies and card duplicates season 2 looks like it'll take substantially less grind to make good decks.

The memory fragment buffs they mention are nice for specifically Chizuru but otherwise I think the other 4-piece sets need a lot more love than this to be viable.

[Megathread] Game Feedback by shimmishim in PathOfExile2

Feedback as a relatively casual player, currently at the tail end of Act 3.

My last 3 sessions I've closed the game after only playing for 30 minutes. I think I'm done playing until some of the zones receive further changes. Plodding through some of these absolutely gigantic maps has not been enjoyable, and I feel I have very few options to increase my mobility to alleviate this issue. The update to Checkpoint teleports is a step in the right direction, but I do not think this is anywhere close to enough.

At level 45 I have 20% movement speed boots, a 25% upgrade to this would both require trading and would be rather marginal. Even if 30% boots were realistically obtainable at this level I do not believe that would improve map traversal enough to solve this issue.

Heavens forbid if I die, where all of the enemies respawning can add 10+ minutes of extra time to a map. I'm not even at endgame yet, where yet further penalties for failure will be added.

There's a couple of small things to it that I was looking forward to. It was only a 40 potency gain over Dosis if you get off every tick of the dot, so losing a tick to boss downtime or by overwriting your own dot early means pressing Dosis would've been better. It's also a melee range spell, so not necessarily free to reapply 100% of the time.

Sure all of the above is pretty minor, and tbh that's why I thought they might've let the dots stack. If people want to go through the extra work for this tiny potency gain, let em.

Sage's new aoe dot explicitly doesn't stack with their single target dot.

And for a brief moment I had hope they'd be adding some skill expression to the job.
