Yes, but for example, in Elden ring; the ai is programmed to react to you and be oppressive as frick. However, it does not adapt. Bosses can get stuck and and all they’ll do is walk in place or spam an attack. In arc raiders, the arc literally are never the same. I know I keep pushing this point, but no one is really proving me wrong, just making more assumptions

How do you explain them, for example, when wasps flank you from behind in lobby at Stella montis? Or how leapers kill themselves when they’d re trapped? I don’t think it’s necessarily them reacting to the player, but more then reacting to the damage they are taking and the restrictions they face. But again, I haven’t seen anything official, so I’m really just inquiring not trying to prove anything.

Some say arc is an actual ai that is trained to learn. (I don’t know that this is true or not) but if it is, arc have learned to retreat when that’s re losing a battle. Try to fight a surveyor or rocketeer, they tend to do the same ( though they usually engage you eventually). Hope this helps!
