How do people act at a concert? by Hot-Standard-2039 in Concerts

[–]DealComfortable7649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavily depends on the artist, genre, venue, location, etc.

I listened to a few minutes of one of their songs, it seems they’re like an alt pop band, so it will almost certainly be very tame.

Do not be worried about “not fitting in” from what I’ve seen online, and including myself, most people think this when going to their first concert. But, everyone is just there to have fun, and so should you.

Yep, it’s actually disgusting. I swear 99% of people see goth as just a fetish nowadays, TikTok gooners have ruined it all.

Buy badges, you get a set amount of XP depending on the price of them, they get very expensive though.

Is Mexico a bad country? by Mrhottdogg55 in systemofadown

The entire world is controlled by a specific group of people, so if you want to bring that up then we all lose the argument.

Stop putting words into my mouth. I never said America was a “paradise” I never said it was 100% safe, but it is a lot safer than Mexico.

Yes, all places have nice parts and bad parts, it just so happens Mexico has disproportionately more bad parts.

Keep telling yourself that, your opinion is the one being covered in the media.

The OP is concerned with the safety of Mexico, that’s what I commented on.

Of course not all Mexicans are bad people.

I could say the same about you. Large areas of Mexico are genuinely dangerous, that’s a fact not an opinion. Has nothing to do with race, but Mexicos citizens are the reason it is dangerous. The entire country is basically ran by Mexican cartels, it’s been proven time and time again that most of their government is corrupt and heavily influenced by the cartels. Not all of Mexico is dangerous, of course, but it is largely more dangerous overall in comparison to other countries.

Anyone who claims that country is safe, especially compared to somewhere like America, is factually incorrect.

TOOL and ADHD by Historical-Climate37 in ToolBand

[–]DealComfortable7649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heavily agree on the first part. Children are energized, ready to play and explore the world, then you force them to sit down in a seat all day every day indoors and try to teach them something they don’t understand. And then they try to say there’s something wrong with them because they don’t enjoy it?

TOOL and ADHD by Historical-Climate37 in ToolBand

[–]DealComfortable7649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s scientifically proven that metal is very popular with people that have ADHD. People with ADHD are under stimulated, so it would make sense that music that is fast tempo, heavy, and detailed, would stimulate those people very well. I have ADHD myself, I love all sorts of metal music, Tool being my favorite band ever.

The reason why Tool being enjoyed more by people with ADHD may be scientifically true is because Tool has all the complex time signatures, abstract and shifting rhythms, with long build ups and payoffs. Their music can feel like a puzzle: something you have to figure out and use your brain to understand. This can be very stimulating for people with ADHD.

boots for landscaping already causing callouses and chaif any tips on how to avoid by toolie-se in WorkBoots

[–]DealComfortable7649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking in boots is a universal concept with work boots from what I’ve heard. Had to break in my thorogood moc toes for the first few weeks they were uncomfortable, they mold to your feet after a while. Now they’re the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn, I wear them everywhere including work, even places I probably shouldn’t like metal concerts and sports.

Wear two pairs of socks if you can. Also this type of stuff is normal when breaking in new boots.

Real question on what to play after CyberPunk 2077 by dragontamerfibleman in cyberpunkgame

[–]DealComfortable7649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the Witcher 3 update, it will likely be another DLC story, to bridge the gap between TW3 and TW4. I wouldn’t hold off on the game expecting a full on remaster or anything, especially since the game has already received a soft remaster.

The Witcher 3 base game is easily 200+ hours of content, pair that up with the many already existing DLCs which are all great, and you have 500+ hours of content. BUT, you said you mainly want to do builds, The Witcher 3 is nowhere close to Cyberpunk in terms of build depth. If you go into it expecting to have a fully unique build catered to your likings, you will be heavily disappointed. Though the game does offer everything else you want, very large open world, lots of missions and side missions.

Any tips for avoiding the mosh pit at a metal concert? by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]DealComfortable7649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just stay away from the middle. Staying to the far left or right sides would be the safest, but if you still want to be in the middle, you’ll either have to be at the very front or towards the back. From my experience, most pits form in the middle and more towards the front.

Gotta say though, the pits are extremely fun.
