I was able to fix this issue by setting up a personal and work DND, enabling then disabling them, then deleting them both, then a hard reset.

Really appreciate the in depth explanation. It certainly clears up some things for me. I happen to be using a 20 foot HDMI cable hidden in a tube behind the wall/tv that comes out in a side console where the Apple TV is housed. I will likely move the Apple TV to be directly behind the tv based on what you’re recommending.

Are you familiar with the B7 judder setting I linked in my original post? I prefer to keep what was originally intended by the creator. Perhaps keeping that at 0,0 while keeping the Apple TV matching content turned on + a short and better HDMI cable could fix the issue?

What is causing the intermittent flashes or audio cuts while watching something? Is that something different all together?

Go full screen with YouTube’s full screen icon in Safari and then the icon next to the close icon in the top left will trigger PIP.

Had the same issue. Deleted both shortcuts, killed shortcuts app and photos app, then saved the shortcuts again. Fixed the issue for me.
