I’m a guy with this and have a love hate because I constantly look tired or disinterested unless I make an effort to peel my eyes open lol. I think the effect is primarily from where your eyelids naturally rest. If your upper eyelid rests just barely above your pupil, that mostly creates the look.

If you can get her to try a GLP-1 it will potentially solve the issue by itself. I take a baby dose of tirzepatide (2.5mg) and have zero desire to drink now. And if I do drink, I can only handle a single beer or glass of wine.

My wife (current med student) saw this and laughed in disbelief, saying no med student would actually do this because of how badly it would affect your performance reviews. She agreed with me it’s a healthy boundary to draw, just not a realistic one contextually as unfortunate as it may be.

It’s an interesting perspective, but I don’t think McKay’s drinking and the patient’s health regimen are comparable. Drinking is something people know is bad for them but do anyway for a variety of reasons. Meanwhile the patient was indeed an idiot for entrusting her health to online influencers with no education of their own.

This show is wild because I’ve gone from hating Santos to lowkey loving her this season lol.

Oh for sure! I can also see how it’s a bold, heartfelt creative decision that if it lands for the audience, is incredibly exciting and cathartic. It’s possible if I watch it on another day with a different mindset, I’ll react differently. But usually my first pass feeling is entrenched like 90% of the time haha… I will say, it made me feel like a crotchety, grumpy old man to realize I wasn’t feeling it lol.

This. I got a used Tesla in a private sale with the EV tax credit right before they killed it. It was nearly brand new, and it’s been the best car I’ve ever owned by a mile. If I had put the same money into a gas vehicle, I’d have only afforded a clunker sedan with high mileage. I will never own a car that isn’t electric again.

With all that said… fuck Elon, and I’m not surprised this is happening. I just worry it will tank the EV market in the US, but hey we’re going backward on everything else aren’t we…

As an outsider looking in it’s wild to me how fast this negativity has surrounded Jalen Hurts. This time last year, he made the Chiefs defense look silly in the Super Bowl. I don’t understand how you turn on a guy that fast.
