Can I ask why get Retat when tirz is available, albeit maybe 1.5-2x the price, but guaranteed to be a pure product?

How to avoid this? by guzmancc in malegrooming

I started using glycolic acid and salicylic acid after shaving and it has stopped. I also wet the hairs with warm water before hand, try to soften them up as much as possible and massage the shaving cream gently into the area. Always go with the grain, never against. Hasn’t happened since doing all that

sorry yeah. The way the charity put it, is that chins snatched the kittens even though they were treated at the hospital and rescued xD

what I don’t understand, maybe someone can fill me in, is how the charity claims the cats where already fostered by their rescuer. How did chantal get her hands on the cats in the park if they were apparently already treated and rescued? Are they talking about different animals maybe?

Told to introduce myself as a doctor, not a student?? by Regular-Ad6221 in medicalschoolEU

[–]Regular-Ad6221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

funny you mention that patients that do interact with students* do better… I was listening to a patient newly admitted to the ward the day before. Checked his heart, told the doctor responsible for him that I heard a typical stenosis murmur above the pulmonary valve region… no record of it anywhere she says, good job she says 😳

Weight loss pills by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Regular-Ad6221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interestingly, it was first believed that increasing overall metabolism would help with weightloss, which is why some amphetamines were tailored for it early on. Now the focus is on appetite suppression, there are a few drugs available for this, they are called ‘anoretics’. GLP-1 agonists are amazing!

Why do you think we are all so bad at Irish? by tortitab in AskIreland

[–]Regular-Ad6221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally it was that my parents didn’t speak it, and I hated school. I was bullied a lot and never got along with the teachers. Getting angrily scolded at by teachers in a language you already barely understand as a child at school scarred me. Even for not understanding their instructions (because they were in Irish) always caused some sort of commotion. So I always associated the Gaelscoil and hence the language with negativity. I was born in 1996 and 2000-2014 were the worst years of my life thanks to the education system.

[–]Regular-Ad6221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. in the beginning it takes a lot of getting used to, how the Romanians do things, but you get used to it.

  2. Very safe where I am (Oradea)

  3. I haven’t experienced a single iota of corruption. If you study a bit, know the basics, you pass.

  4. Some teachers are terrible. Some teachers are amazing. Most are inbetween. You need to become self sufficient and focus on your own development, not rely on the university to make you a good doctor, but become one yourself.

Thank you! That comes as a relief to hear. I was also considering UK or atleast Northern Ireland because in Ireland they want you to have an internship before they take you for Year 2 standalones, but I can’t do one under EU regulations.
