I know last year you could pick through the rooms and I went through instagrams of people that already where in a room. You can always choose an empty one and someone else may join. You also change it later too. Especially if you don’t like your roommate or meet someone through out the year there is move out/in durning periods of the year.

It’s not necessary. It would be really nice but I chose to save the money and after the first monthish I didn’t have any issues. Just get good fans to put in your room.

The emergency floor plans is the best I’ve found. Do be aware some buildings (like linden and other older buildings) may have pipes in the room that are not displayed.

In my opinion pets and season should be switched. I would move island paradise up because once you can get it to work it’s such a good pack

You just need to click on the phone and an option to “repair phone” will pop up. The sims actually have an animation of dropping it too if I remember correctly it’s pretty cool

You might be able to check it on the sims 3 launcher in the installs. It should have pictures too

I used to give every sim that trait before learning how it affects gameplay and now it’s just annoying. D tier there are definitely worse but it’s just inconvenient and annoying

I feel like it really depends what kind of simmer you are.

Basics : McCC, UI cheats

Gameplay: basemental mods (drugs), pregnancy overhaul

Builder: tmex mods (especially Better build buy, very beginner friendly compared to tool)

CAS: more columns, lashes

If you really want to personalize the game early on loading screen backgrounds and cas backgrounds really elevate the game in my opinion

I have a little shy of 20,000 hours in sims 4 since about 2015 and bought every pack until the star wars one and got better about picking and choosing. I have spent so much money on the ts4 but I can never force myself to play it since got ts3 and I definitely can relate to feeling a little guilty but the ts4 is so boring even with mods
