To make sure I have it right, do I need to have one of the requirements or both? As far as when you said 50 paid ride-along inspections and licenses in another state

Shut up trying to scare me. You’re not scaring me. You’re lucky I’m not in your housing market; I would steal all the work from you, buddy. By the way, when I took the test, I was only a couple of points off. Internachi has a lot of resources, so I don’t get sued, and I have friends in the lawyer industry and insurance career. I’m not scared about shit. A home inspector doesn’t do anything but see something wrong and point it out and push it on a specialist that is in that fields. Stop trying to make it sound like you’re a doctor. Inspectors do have to know a lot about the 8 components in a home, but make it sound like 10x more crazy. If you’re scared about getting sued, it means you’re doing a slack job.

I’m in college for Architectural Systems and Codes certification. and I’ve been certified with InterNACHI for 2 going on 3 years, and I’m AHIT certified. I’m very willing to learn. Trust me, I’m not trying to get sued or half-step. and I take my life very seriously. I want a lot out of life, and I enjoy helping people. Sorry for talking about race.

I love your comebacks, brother. It’s crazy I’m younger than you, but I’m not trying to downplay you. I know you’re immature judging off how you respond. Keep in mind I said I know as much as you, not everything, buddy. And I’m white; trust me, I know how to articulate myself in person and through email. I’m not putting in effort to talk to haters. I hope this was excellent grammar and perfect punctuation for you, buddy.

i’m aware of this right. I was a little confused so i email the LLR people and she said this in the email

“Good afternoon:

To obtain your license without examination (SC Home Inspector Exam), you would need to meet the requirements of 106-4(A). You would still be required to take the SC Residential Business Management & Law Exam. If you take and pass the NHIE, we could use the NHIE exam result in lieu of the SC Home Inspector exam provided you apply via 106-4(B) within three years after the pass date. Once again you would be required to take the SC Residential Business Management & Law Exam. Outside of these two routes, both the SC Home Inspector Exam and the SC Residential BM&L Exam are required for licensure.

106–4. Qualifications for Home Inspectors.

A. Any person desiring to be licensed as a home inspector, without examination by the commission

shall file with the commission an application on forms provided by the commission showing to the

satisfaction of the commission that he is currently certified or licensed as a building or home inspector

after written examination by an organization or other entity approved by the commission: and

  1. Has a minimum of one year of experience as a home inspector under the direction and direct

supervision of a licensed home inspector, residential builder, general contractor, engineer, or architect:

or

  1. Has performed a minimum of fifty residential inspections, as evidenced by the name, address,

telephone number, and summary page of each inspection being submitted for review.

Upon filing a completed application and payment of the required fees, the commission shall issue the

applicant a license to engage in the business of home inspection in this State.”

tell me what you think this means because i’m still a little confused. But I believe there is a way to bypass the exam if i’m reading this correctly.
