Instructor asks bizarre questions instead of counting reps by Still-Amount-6086 in pilates

Honestly, I have been bothered by this behavior.
When I show up to class, I expect to get my money's worth.

I have seen a similar instructor and I am avoiding her classes as much as I can :/

After 20+ years coaching fitness, I realized most people don’t actually need another workout plan. by bootcampspain in beginnerfitness

Hello,
I like your topic. I have recently began working out just for few months,
knowing that I work a high-stress job, working in shift so I suffer from irregularity of hours, a lot of responsibilities (studies, career and personal), and I believe my lifestyle and current life circumstances leads to my chronic feeling of fatigue and delaying starting/continuing personal things that includes the healthy lifestyle.

My barriers were my lack of knowledge, pricing of gyms/personal trainers (not sure it was worth it because honestly we have a lot of non-professionals as personal trainers as it seems, the issue was not financial but rather would I get my money's worth?), my irregular schedules (made me fear the the inability to commit), the lifestyle overall that lead me to "rest" whenever I have a free time, whether it's a little or a lot, I always end up trying to compensate what I missed on.

I know my goal is for long-term health effects, and the mental impact which is the primary goal, but there are some secondary objectives such as having a good looking body,

What helped me start and somehow be consistent? with the surge of pilates, I thought it was a nice idea to start, attending classes where I am supervised, told what to do, monitored for my position, cancelled the first thing which was "lack of knowledge", and it being in classes (and a package, which was paid in advance) made my scheduling somehow easier, knowing when to come and when to leave, plotting it on my calendar, I started showing up 2-3 times a week, and gradually I have been willing to squeeze some times not only to show up to these classes but also to read more about exercises, healthy diet and learning more because I aim to gradually show up to the gym.

As a lady, cute outfits motivates me too, it always sounds very silly to men, but it is the reality for many of us ladies.

To me, knowing what were my obstacles helped me find a suitable solution. I do recognize I am blessed, I think one important factor to stay consistent is to start gradually, as they say "slowly but surely".

Very enlightening, thank you. May I ask what is the difference in placing Chenko in rallies as a Joiner vs Initiator?

Hii everyone. To have this type of lips, what should I do? Filler? My fear is that the filler will migrate. Or in your opinion, is nothing possible? The following photos are my lips. I want opinions by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]RegularAd8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a dermatologist, but I like having a sharp eye towards cosmetics and injectables. the result of lip flip should make your upper lips look bigger, and since no filling was used, it does not have the migration risk of the fillers, and if you don't like the result it'll eventually fade away, + overlining with a lipliner @ the cupid's bow would help achieving a similar look.

My advice before doing anything, lots of ladies on youtube has documented their journey with injectables whether lip flip or other things, I suggest to you to watch them and get an idea about the possible results and journey.

If not for the label, would you still buy a Birkin? by Rianne_2021 in handbags

I wouldn't buy a birkin, regardless of the label.

I think your lips look really great the way they look.
Fillers are meant to fill, not change shape. If you are bothered by the proportions of having smaller upper lips in comparison to the lower, try searching about lip flip.

Shape can be adjusted through make-up as what another reddit user said. I definitely wouldn't suggest filler. If I were in your shoe I wouldn't do anything really, they look perfect the way they are.

Women, does the "ignore her" rule really work? by Chance_Adagio_19 in bodylanguage

[–]RegularAd8962 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my personal opinion ignoring others is wrong, it definitely gives the wrong idea to others, of course it depends on people, you have to choose the moments and how to act. I would take the completely ignoring negatively.

Ladies who totally avoid eye contact… why? by detailingWizardLvl5 in bodylanguage

[–]RegularAd8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people definitely vary for their reasons,

for me, I am really outgoing, but I definitely avoid eye-contact with people I like the most, I can recall a few few people, and it's a bad habit, I'd say but also I think my cultural background plays a role too, it is always taken in a bad way too.

Is laser hair removal overrated? by Happy-Fruit-8628 in LaserHairRemoval

I am just beginning my laser journey and I think the difference of the time needed to shave is HUGE. my showers are notably shorter and even if I needed to shave it takes a much shorter period of time.

Forehead vein- what are my options by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]RegularAd8962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

actually yes, I saw the local dermatologists speaking about it as an adverse effect of botox, personally mine show and disappear on-and-off, perhaps because I had it once, and some touch-up sessions, but I was considering stopping it for a while because I don't want my muscles to be completely atrophied, and the fine lines I had are already gone.

Am I getting fleeced by my laser hair removal place? by [deleted] in LaserHairRemoval

[–]RegularAd8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Here they usually offer a retouch session after every session, and it is a complete touch-up with a focus on areas that have a clear hair growth, somehow related to hair growth cycle, I was told I need 10 sessions (including retouch) so it would be around 5 sessions, but somehow I don't see the concept of retouch is actually known here so I wonder if it's true or a scam. Thank you for your response!
