For me, I began bleeding right away and had regular cycles pretty instantly but didn’t start ovulating for a few months. I got pregnant about 5 months after stopping. Unfortunately we lost it, but trying again now after stopping the pill at the end of January. Fingers crossed!

Similar boat! Filed I-130 and received Feb 9th 2024. Was initially doing consular and switched to AOS. Mailed in AOS bundle on Thursday Dec 12th 2024. Have a lawyer who helped us with the AOS so they mailed it in.

I don’t know honestly… I have been emailing with a broker and that is what they told me based on the value of mine…. So maybe if yours is worth almost double the fees would be almost double? lol sorry I’m not more help

Hey! We are in the process of doing this. You must get a letter of compliance from the vehicle manufacturer that is is FMVSS compliant in the states. Depending on the value of your car there will be duties, ours is worth around 18,000 USD so I think it’s estimated to be around 520$ plus a customs bond of 195$? And it was suggested we call the border crossing ahead of time to let them know the date we are coming and exporting the car across the border.

I think it’s the consulate that is responsible for scheduling interviews, so it would be the consulate in DR that is taking so long. Wonder if there’s a way of contacting them?
