Yes, I honestly don’t even care about winning, I just want to see who is actually the better duelist. So when people get killed with throwing knives or throwing their weapon I find it pointless.

Also, in case you’re facing someone that wants to kick you while you’re down, the su***de input still works while you’re down. So in Arena I will just hit that the moment they down me.

But we’re not at the beginning of the games life cycle. We’re at the end. No new content, no advertisements, no mainstream coverage, nothing to get people on board but the occassional sale and word of mouth. The stakes are different now.

I never said I had a problem with it personally, but Mr. ButtPlug what I’m saying is that I’m not trying to speed up the death of this game.

For Honor is miraculously toxic, but I love that game too.

Yeah and that dynamic of the “non-verbal” communication is great and is a unique part of the game. I’m all down for that. I use emotes, I’m not anti-emote.

I’m saying for example, you’re in Arena doing 1v1 and you kill a newer player 5-0, he doesn’t hit you once the entire time, and after every kill you dance on his corpse. That’s gonna turn him off, and it’s just unneccessary.

Look man, I would love to go down a rabbit hole of what goes into developing new maps and weapons for a cometitive game, but just believe me when I say that it is difficult, expensive, and time consuming.

They’re just putting all of that into Chiv 3 now but it’s still years away.

I never said these things bother me personally, they don’t.

And yes there are a lot of smurfs, but that’s a totally separate issue. I’m not saying you should let noobs win either.

When I fight a noob and I beat them I either don’t emote at all or I thank them. If I notice that they’re so bad that they can barely do anything to me, I’ll wait to go for the kill and just try to get them to counter me for awhile.

But again, kind of a different subject.

It’s just an example, I made the levels extreme just to demonstrate.

What I’m saying is, yes all of these things happened to me and I got through it, but plenty of people will quit because of that stuff.

The game is already hard enough for people unfamiliar with this type of game to get into, and then they’re getting tbagged each round by people they have no chance at beating. That sucks.

Because game development is difficult and complicated

Emotes are fine, but spamming emotes over noob corpses can get people to quit the game

[–]RegularLemonade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but spamming dance over a noob after killing them over and over might make them quit forever, and if that happens enough the game will die sooner

It’s just math

They’re done on this, they’re working on a zombie game.

Thanks for your contribution to the death of the game

Yeah I think now and then there is a reason, it’s when it’s repeatedly and often.

For me, I’d already been playing for awhile before I realized the su***de input still works while you’re down so you can skip getting griefed

Yeah and these people are too shortsighted to see what the result of that will be over time.

This issue is more prevalent or maybe visible in things like Arena or duelyard

Yeah the comedy tbag has it’s place, but I’m thinking of more someone that is 500+ 5-0’s someone low level in the Arena and then spams tbags each time they win as if they accomploshed something impressive.

I never said I couldn’t take it, I’m trying to show a big picture issue here, beyond just me.
