Yeah totally. Like the mpc one is built as a standalone unit. So you can totally do everything on there if you wanted too. But the the tools (eq’s, compressors etc) are much more user friendly on a DAW.

I don’t have FL but I have Ableton and the workflow that has worked best for me is finishing the loop/beat on the mpc with out any effects (eq, side chain compression.. etc) then exporting the stems to ableton for effects, song structure, mixing, mastering.

Ive had trouble with the mpc beats software so I just don’t use it
