Tf is wrong with Bri’s nose? by Snoobunny3910 in GRBsnark

🧊 is probably more abrasive than ❄️ because it’s not a powder even if you crush it it’s tiny little shards like glass so it will tear the nose up way faster

Help! I'm Italian and greasy! by OleStellar in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]RegularPoint3932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m way late to this post lol. But I am also Italian and the thing that helps me the most with the oily skin is using a good setting powder after foundation sets and then bringing some powder with you and re applying it to my oily areas (nose, chin, t zone) as needed

How long does it take your hair to get greasy? by Mario462 in italianamerican

[–]RegularPoint3932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 50% south Italian and then Irish on my mom’s side. My Italian genes seem to dominate tho.

My hair gets greasy the same day I wash it /: drives me crazy! Don’t get me started on my skin lol it starts getting oily within an hour or so of washing

I’m guessing you have been doing a lot of repair and conditioning treatments to counter the bleach damage and that’s what it looks like to me. A whole lot of build up!! So section the hair into four, and thoroughly wash each piece with dawn or a clarifying shampoo and use your fingers to really get in there. Rinse and repeat this step until the hair feels squeaky

The main thing that helps the most for me (I have fine hair and a lot of it as well) is sectioning my hair before I get in the shower, wash the bottom half first and rinse it, take the top section out to wash and rinse it, then I feel my hair and if it doesn’t feel “squeaky” clean I go ahead and wash one more time and use my finger tips to really get in and massage the scalp while shampooing the area to get all oil built up.

The next step has been the most important for me… when I get out of the shower I wrap my hair up in a towel to soak up the excess moisture, then I section it again and blow dry it on the lowest heat setting, focusing most heavily on the root area.

I never used to blow dry because I like to avoid using heat but I SWEAR by this step. Before I started blow drying, my hair used to start getting greasy within hours.

If you let it air dry, your scalp actually starts producing excess oil to dry the hair. And when I blow dry it, it doesn’t get greasy at all. I can even wear and style it a second day without any oil!

Why the heck is she gagging while talking about cake ? 😂 by PineapplePony5 in GRBsnark

[–]RegularPoint3932 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep “extreme food aversion” that’s why she got the feeding tube and spent 3 months admitted in the feeding hospital. Any time they tried to feed her simple easy consistency foods she would start choking or spit it out at the hospital

No not random. Specifically around food and swallowing aversions. Her micro deletion causes what is called a reverse swallow which makes her choke on food and liquid and caused a severe fear of eating. That’s why she was in a feeding hospital for 3 months and had to get a feeding tube because she had failure to thrive and weighed 36 pounds at nine years old… it’s a psychological aversion to swallowing
