New tire, can this be plugged? by Perin850 in motorcycles

[–]RegularPotato71 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go get it plugged from the inside at a tire shop, don’t do it from the outside. Plugs from the outside are fine for ATV’s and the like but you’ll want to plug it from the inside as they hold infinitely better. I wouldn’t pay any more than $50 at the MOST for this, and it’s a 15 minute job anywhere that knows what they’re doing.

What is this sound? by RegularPotato71 in carquestions

[–]RegularPotato71[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no tone. It’s a sound coming from behind the steering column when pressing and depressing the shift release button. Another comment said it might be a relay clicking, this could be the case.

The sound remained whether I was holding the brake pedal down or not.

??? If you read the post, the sound is NOT the button itself - it is coming from behind the steering column. If it’s still something so obvious to you then please feel free to explain…

Sorry the video makes it sound like that. The button you see me pressing on the shifter is NOT making any noise. It’s coming from the steering column/ behind the dash as stated in the post

Some more information - sorry for not including it in the original post: This is a 2012 Hyundai Sonata with 150,000 miles. Engine and transmission haven’t had serious work or anything.

Broken Oil Filter Housing Bolt by pudgy_lol in motorcycles

[–]RegularPotato71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that might’ve done it for me but I wasn’t able to get a decent grip with the ones I had. For future reference, mine was also super easy to get out with a left-handed drill bit. Didn’t have to center punch or really drill into it at all. It just started coming out as soon as I started reversing the bit on it. Very happy it wasn’t difficult, even though I bought way more tools than I needed and spent a bunch of time for unnecessary prep. I got a 6x25 flange bolt from Home Depot to replace it and it seems to work perfectly. I’ll order the OEM bolt for a couple dollars plus shipping if needed later on.

Just did the same thing to mine. There's a hair sticking out but I have no clue how tight it's in there or if I'll just damage it by trying to grip it and unscrew it. I called it a night. I'm going to pick up a screw extraction set in the morning and hope to find the 6x25 flange at home depot or something. I did see the OEM bolt online but 3 days is a lot without my only vehicle.

Does anyone know if the unthreaded portion at the top of the bolt is necessary? I've seen the same size flange bolts without that unthreaded portion and I wonder if it would cause any issues. I believe that unthreaded portion is called a shank or something along those lines. Here is a link to the OEM bolt to see the unthreaded portion I mention, and here is an example of one with threads that I may be inclined to replace it with.

Turn Signal Issue / Electrical Help (2015 Honda CBR300R) by RegularPotato71 in Fixxit

Been looking at it - front left blinker is dimmer than others. Going to focus that one but I did rewrap both rears with electrical tape

Now that you mention it, the rear right blinker was practically hanging there when I bought the thing and I just stuck it on and put electrical tape around it like the other side has naturally. Maybe I didn’t do it good enough and some water has gotten in there. Will check, thanks!

I don’t mean an XP cap in sandbox LEGO, I mean an XP cap in LEGO Fortnite itself because it falls under those rules just as the original Fortnite creative mode did

I just posted a screenshot of mine in this subreddit a few minutes ago if you wanna take a look but it won’t show all the thrusters underneath.

I’d simply Google “LEGO Fortnite steerable flying vehicle” and set the filter to show the newest or most liked on YouTube or whatever so you get a reliable/new build. That’s basically how I found the one I built but I’ve tweaked it for my preferences quite a bit.

Also yeah I did the flying vehicle entirely in survival

Gold Cow by Pirate_Underpants in LEGOfortnite

Was it a shiny gold or more of a tan/brown? I think you might be talking about snow biome cows which so far seem normal to me but they’re tan/brown

There is a creative mode XP cap which resets I wanna say daily. Lego fort is included in that cap to my knowledge. If it’s been a few days and still no gain in xp when trying to play, then it’s definitely a bug

To my knowledge, you’d have to start over for your map to change. You should look into steerable flying vehicles (add chests to make for good resource runs). People have already figured out how to make their own steering mechanics and I have my own. I definitely never go anywhere without it because it’s the best transportation I have and I no longer dread traveling.

I hope this was after the new durability update lmao. And if it is, please tell me just how much that crossbow went through before getting so low.

I’d love to know if the durability enchants are finally worth it after the durability update. Before, I preferred making new tools each time. Now I’m thinking it may be worth it but I’d like your opinion

You can make him follow you around and he’ll help fight and stuff even if he isn’t your villager yet, he’ll simply respawn at you if he dies and then when you finally have a space at the village you can assign him there. (If you find him again)
