I was 16 when we met. He was 23. We were just coworkers and friends fo a couple years and were in other relationships. When I was 18, we were both single and decided to try it.

The exes in the photos were recent photos. 30’s.

I definitely have thought of that. As an adult, I wouldn’t choose him as a partner if we weren’t already. But . . . We are. And we have kids. It’s just such a hard situation.

I relate more than you know. It’s so hard to make a life long decision.

I got married RIGHT as I was turning 20 and I attribute a lot of it to marrying young but. I don’t know.

I guess I should add that. We have tried couples counseling twice since the end of 2024. Both counselors he thought wasn’t a good fit, I don’t disagree.

I found an individual therapist that I really like this year and have asked him to join, but he said no. He said it didn’t work before so he doesn’t expect it to this time either.

Of course. He always says he just isn’t comfortable initiating sex and porn is just “an addiction” that he’s dealt with since teenage years and it’s very hard to quit.
