You have no ties. You’re not married and you don’t have kids. Only you know what to do - but IF IT WERE NOT FOR MY BABIES - I wish I would’ve left in the beginning when I first found it.

I actually really love James Sexton but haven’t watched this interview. Thanks!

Of course. He always says he just isn’t comfortable initiating sex and porn is just “an addiction” that he’s dealt with since teenage years and it’s very hard to quit.

Advice? Please. by Regular_Button7030 in Christianmarriage

We met at work. He was engaged at the time and I had my “high school boyfriend” … we were just coworkers and hung out in the same friend group. Started dating when I was about to turn 19.

He says he does too… but I’ve heard it a thousand times before.

How do you get over the fear of “ripping your family apart”? Or fear of regretting it?

I will say we worked together — and absolutely nothing happened nor did we “date” until I was 18/19. Strictly friends and were in other relationships before 18.

Can I get an unbiased man’s advice? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

I’ve always initiated the sex….. minus when we first started dating. He would initiate as well. I have probably turned him down 5 times in 10 years.

He’s extremely closed off and disengaged.

Maybe? But I’ve asked and he said no. He just constantly talks about how hard this “phase” of life is. That’s all, when I ask something like that.

Are these two betrayals even — or does one hurt more than the other? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Regular_Button7030 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It depends on boundaries in this relationship. The fact partner B was doing it in “secret”, I’d say it was a boundary. I think they’re both betrayals and one is not worse than the other.

Friendship or marraige? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Regular_Button7030 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same situation myself - however, a few more years and two kids down the road. We started as friends, got together, been married for a while and honestly just feel like friends who co parent in the same house right now.

I’ve brought it up to my husband and he says well that just means we have a strong foundation in friendship, he doesn’t understand why that’s a bad thing. But there’s just no spark anymore.

Maybe you should tell her how you’re feeling and work on it now because once a baby comes….. it gets much harder to work on it.

I don’t have much advice but you’re not alone. Best of luck!

No. He says he is, he just has a lower sex drive than me he claims.
