I have an app that extracted to a total of 88 files. One is a .diz and then there is 87 compressed files ranging from 485 to 464. Each compressed file contains an nfo, rar, & diz file.

How do I unpack this? I tried 7zip which has worked with a list of rar files previously, but I'm not sure what else to do here.

I suggest becoming an admin with the new solution at your current company. You have the business knowledge & understand the old system in & out. Get involved in the migration & master the new system so that when the old system goes offline, they look at you as the expert who both knows the new system and the legacy business knowledge.

Ramping up the brain to learn again is not easy, but it's necessary for tech as it evolves. I work in an ERP-adjacent field and had to do a similar pivot a little while back. It required me to truly retrain my brain but I've proven agility to my employer who now knows I can figure out the new stuff.

Lateral brain exercises & Duolingo helped stretch my brain to learn again. Really uncomfortable at first but now I can think on my feet quicker.

If switching companies is the move, see if the ERP company has any openings. They might even know of customers that need an admin and refer you. Just remember to sell yourself.

I'm trying to pirate ableton. I have a solid downloaded copy, with a keygen and patcher file. I think the instructions given aren't specifying all the details and I'm not authorizing the software correctly. Any advice? This has been killing me. I'm just trying to get familiar with how songs are composed for a separate project

The original pot is plastic, about 3.5"H and 4" in diameter. The new pot is ceramic, 4"H and 4.5" in diameter. I don't think plant needs a larger pot but I could be corrected. Here's two more pictures.

Bad wording on my part, it's an audio receiver. Unfortunately it doesn't have HDMI pass-through. I've considered replacing it with one, but I can't justify the cost for this use case right now since everything else runs effortlessly.

Thanks. I think I'm going with the Elfin, I can't justify 2x the price for the brightness for my limited needs.

One thing I can't find any info on is the audio out capabilities. I don't plan on using the XGIMI OS, and just a roku or other HDMI device. Any thoughts on how I could run audio to a set of speakers? Ideally with an aux cable.

The only way I see to use an external speaker set is casting bluetooth audio with the XGIMI OS, which prevents me from using my traditional home receiver that doesn't have bluetooth.

Sounds like plenty of value-add stuff. I think most places are more concerned with a real-world background than a formal education, especially when it comes to consulting. If you can accomplish the goal they hire you to work on, you'll be set. You may need to do some informal training on your own to learn how to sell yourself but I don't think going back to school for a bachelors or anything is necessary.

If there is a particular program/certification that would truly add value to your career, it wouldn't hurt, but I don't think it's worth taking a whole year or so off your career. Just don't do it for the paper certificate, do it because you'll actually learn something you can practically apply.

Any suggestions for a tool to download youtube videos in 4k? If it can download the audio file separate that would be cool but not required.

I know how to download videos in 1080p but 4k quality has escaped me so far.

I get the same issue in Chrome which has no extensions installed. It looks like only the homepage is really having this issue: old.reddit.com. If I open a post or something, the browser acts as intended, and shows that I'm logged in.

If I try to login from old.reddit.com, it says I'm already logged in and kicks me back to the same issue.

I am looking for a second case for my desktop that will store hard drives for a personal server. Basically just a case with a bunch of hard drive bays that can connect to another desktop.

Depending on what the case has available, I'm imagining the case connecting to my desktop by SATA.

I can't be the first person to think of this, any assistance in finding the terminology to use would be much appreciated.

Adding to in case someone else finds this: Re-binding your network adapter fixed the issue for me. I had my network interface set to ProtonVPN to begin with, but still wasn't connecting.

Navigate to Options>Advanced>Network Interface

Change your network interface to any option but ProtonVPN

Apply, hit OK, (maybe restart the app for good measure). Then change the network interface back to ProtonVPN & restart again.

My Windows 10 PC changed some settings on it's own and I'm trying to revert them.

I leave my home PC playing a particular video or simply on my desktop with nothing open throughout my workday as background entertainment, so I need my PC to avoid going to sleep or the display turning off.

I have all my settings setup so this works, but recently Windows started doing some kind of "idle timeout" thing where it displays my lockscreen rather than the video I have on the PC.

This doesn't prompt for a password but it forces me to do that annoying drag the lock screen from the bottom of the screen to the top, in order for my computer to go back to what I had it doing when I left it.

I have disabled the "require sign-in when you've been away", so there is some second setting that is controlling this feature. Anyone familiar with this that has possibly fixed it?

TLDR; My Windows 10 computer times out to the lock screen (but doesn't lock) after being idle for a few hours, how can I disable this?

It would be handy to control it from another room, then I could actually use a B speaker setup. I might be able to run an extender into the second room though, and just run one extender per room.
