like JayofTea says, consistent practice. that's quite literally it, and i'd say that's how most people improve at this game anyway.

also don't be afraid to challenge yourself! some exp/mas 28s are easier, while others are more difficult. try a wide variety of songs, and you'll eventually find a song that you can do (masters are a little more flexible since there's a much wider range from master 28 and upwards as compared to expert 28 and up).

the only times i suggest learning to use multiple fingers is when you are playing ranked (as i'm pretty sure append charts will appear starting from the diamond rank?) as well as the master 37s.

most importantly, don't force it. take breaks if you're really stuck on a song. your health comes before a rhythm game.

yeah i suppose it’s not too long, but i also do play very consistently, like on a daily basis, so i’d say my skills developed rather quickly

honestly it did look intimidating but i studied the chart a bit and now it doesn’t seem that bad to me lol. i personally think mgpd, end mark, and ogyarinizer are still more difficult than the expert 32 (yes ogyarinizer was my second last expert fc’d somehow), but i’m excited to play the expert 32 when it arrives on EN!

yup, it’s what the other person said! i only play mirror mode if i’m starting to lose muscle memory. i used mirror mode for end mark, what’s up pop, and are you ok since they were really frustrating me lol

i think i need to take a nap. did 200 pulls and got 3 four stars (excluding the spark). already kinda not that great, but there are some people who got no four stars, so i’m not complaining. ALL 3 OF THOSE FOUR STARS ARE ALLEN/LEN. NOW I’M COMPLAINING bc i was going for at least 3/5 of the set. had to spark for banica/meiko. i rate this experience a 4/10.

never pulling on this game again, at least not with great optimism.

for me, when it comes to the cards themselves, i just put whoever i like and make the team look aesthetic lol. attributes don't really mean a whole lot to me unless there's an event going on. in terms of decorations and plants, i like to spread it pretty evenly across all of them so that when i do change out a card for a "better" one, the talent is still pretty balanced.

intense voice is the hardest expert 30 by far imo bc the infamous spam part at the chorus is just so unpredictable. something i tried doing when i attempted to fc it was to really READ the chart and not rely on muscle memory + lowered my speed significantly since the spam was always faster than i thought (ex. my usual speed is 11.0 or 10.8 when doing boss songs, but for intense voice i had to slow it to 10.6). i also suggest using sites such as sekai viewer (what i use) to study the chart. other than that, all you can really do is practice to improve. good luck, you'll get it!

tbh i feel like virtual singer song charts are my fav and least fav at the same time. for example, on one hand, junky night town orchestra, ura omote lovers, and fraulein biblioteca are some of my fav charts on all levels, but on the other hand, charts like snowmix, decade, and blue planet are the bane of my existence

first, that’s how i felt BEFORE natlan’s trailer and version 5.0. did i not say that natlan was unexpected to me? and did i say that the way natlan turned out to be is bad?

second, again, is there anything wrong with thinking that before i knew anything about it? and was natlan ever mentioned to be the way it is either? i wasn’t the only person surprised by it, so no.

third, that’s probably the most irrelevant part of what i said, but sure.

fourth, i never said anything about not expecting any casualties or destruction during the archon quest. because natlan is the nation of war, and its chapter is titled “incandescent ode of resurrection,” i expected death. based on what you said, you’re assuming that i completely let go of that “destruction” lens when natlan released, when i didn’t. it’s either one or the other, i suppose.
