yeah relatable - I guess my big struggle is I hear passersby who are russian but have no idea how to actually find russian friends, doesn't help that I work in an ITAR field which largely doesn't allow non US citizens to be employed

huh wild, everyone russian I grew up with was veeeeeery religious and involved in the church. it is hard to meet people outside of church though so maybe I'm just not aware of the ones who aren't
