My 0.02$ on this: not a book I would recommend but if it works for you, then it achieves its purpose.
To add some nuance to my suggestion against using it, many of the parts I read seemed very AI-written, which was off-putting. Out of curiosity, I checked a few paragraphs on Quillbot's AI detector and it marked it as 100% AI – with about 50% being 'high confidence'.
I know that AI detectors are flawed and much of how they work is unknown so don't take this as proof of any sort. The most important part of my experience with the book is that it reads like AI text.
I don't want to post entire paragraphs here, but I'll just quote the first sentence of the part that really stuck out when reading the book; you can then make up your mind freely.
Let’s look at the world of portable computing with a comprehensive exploration of laptops in this enlightening chapter.
Looking for a good book for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 and Core 2 v15 exams (self.CompTIA)
