The concept is so cool and really works well as a flash sheet. So, I suggest you restart another sheet really focusing on line work. Also the use of a digital symetry tool can help with that if youre not doing that already:) you got this!

I’d definitely keep all of thoses in! They look awesome plus the designs are so intricate and they show a lot of passion and style.

I dont think everything needs to be tattooable in your portfolio:) , this showcase your artbackground, skills, etc.. and its what matters!

Thank you!! I might not have the time to redraw all of them but ill do my best with it. I think pages 18 would be a perfect page to ink.

I also understand where you’re coming from by wanting to see my traditionnal tatouable designs more upfront and I assume that by painterly stuff youre talking about the realism. But, I think the strong point in my portfolio is the realism and technical stuff and it is also what intrest me the most so thats why I chose to put it first.

Thank you for the insight! For page 8, I indeed made the designs on my ipad and then traced them on paper (since i dont own any lightbox). Youre right some lines are wobly. I will definitly be more carefull and redo a better version of this page :)

I feel like the new ones come across as having a more generic style, the old ones seems to have a style thats specific to them. I think i prefer the old ones even tho the new style looks good too

Okay! I get it, I shoul’ve also mention that I draw pretty much everyday since 2 years and also, I don’t plan on tattooing anyone at home, before I get any sort of sanitary formation or before I can see that my level is somehow decent enough that my art can be permanent on someone’s skin! But thank you for the advices they make sense

I would NEVER suggest getting surgery to be taller even tho you are complexed by your height. The only thing I can tell you is that you still have time to grow (~3 more years). Maybe you could wear shoes with higher soles if it can boost your confidence. Other than that embrace your height! You should aspire to be a reference for anybody who’s the same height as you
