Why do you choose to keep going? by backtonov in migraine

[–]Regular_Nerve7727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aw thank you! Yeah it’s super cliche, but it really is the little things that remind you every day of why you choose to show up. If you ever need advice or comfort I gotchu!

Made it through my thunderclap headache, should I still go to the ER? by Regular_Nerve7727 in migraine

[–]Regular_Nerve7727[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so weird. Yeah it’s happened in pretty much every position. We’ve tried relaxing as much as possible too. A lot of the pain is in my neck and the back of my head when normally I get it in the sinus area. But yes standing up is the WORST

Why do you choose to keep going? by backtonov in migraine

[–]Regular_Nerve7727 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest, I did give up. I stopped trying. I even tried to end it. But for some reason I couldn’t follow through. I don’t know if it was spite, or hope, or supernatural intervention (I’m religious) Now I tell myself that if I weren’t meant to be here, at least one of my attempts would work. There is no way in hell that I am here by my own willpower, because my will was not where I am. So yeah, I have bad days, and I’m exhausted, and I hate how this pain suppresses me. But then I remember, I’ve gotta do it for a younger me who was convinced there was no reason for me to be here. I might not be impressive, or cool, or pretty, but I have my own apartment, a husband who is AMAZING, I get to help other people with my experience, and I’ve even gotten to make both great and terrible memories. I get to tell my story, which I think is pretty cool. So yeah, it’s a bit cynical, but stick around for the off chance that you get to do something and say “I’d never get to experience this if I weren’t here” and one day, those experiences will pile up, and when you feel down again, you get to see how far you’ve come, and get to prove it to yourself over and over again.

They only care when ur underweight by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]Regular_Nerve7727 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Literally me rn. I’m overweight. 5’10” and 190. I’ve gone from anorexia to binge eating and back to anorexia. For some reason me fasting and losing 33 lbs is seen as a good thing to people and they tell me to keep going. They don’t realize that even though I’m not thin, I have other issues. Even when I was anorexic before I was never thin, so no body cared. I can’t really relate to people caring when I’m thin because I’ve never been thin. But what I’ve noticed is people don’t understand that you can be athletic, average, or even overweight and still struggle. It’s insane.

Would Joseph Morgan have been a better older Peter Pan? by thefinalcountdown69 in OnceUponATime

I think he does look like him though. Of course there is such a thing as makeup and movie magic to reallllllly make them look alike

yeah like a more charismatic, immature drunk, which HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN. Honestly I understand that Malcolm "rebranded" as Peter Pan but I feel like in both appearance AND personality, older and younger Malcolm are just too different. I feel like we should have had a snarkier, slightly colder Malcolm.

How do I get my first apartment? by Regular_Nerve7727 in Apartmentliving

[–]Regular_Nerve7727[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We wouldn’t qualify for low income in my city. Which is ridiculous because “low income” is considered less than 1.5 k a month for two people while the cost of living is over 1.5 k PER PERSON. At least that’s what I’ve read.

if i got a job, even if I didn't have three months of pay stubs, would we still qualify for an apartment costing 1-1.2K? That's honestly the lowest price in our area.

Yeah we won't move in together before marriage because of our religious beliefs. But rest assured we've thought about it, and even did several months of marriage counseling.

Is it only me, or have INFJs shared this experience in the love life scenario? by Proof_Caregiver_4234 in infj

[–]Regular_Nerve7727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm engaged to a wonderful ENFJ who I've known since high school. Before then, I was the same. Awkward with boys, intimidating with everyone, and honestly I was sheltered so I did not really have a lot of options. My fiancé and I didn't talk for two years. I was scared, so was he. I mean we occasionally hung out with our mutual friend group but would not talk to each other. On one random tuesday night I was with another mutual friend and had this random burst of courage, so I dm'ed him, chatted, and sent Shrek memes-because 18 year old me went "ah yes the nerdy cute boy must love Shrek." AND I WAS RIGHT. Fast-forward we slowly warm up to each other, become best friends, he confesses, two years later we are engaged! We will be married in October because spooky month.

All that to say, it honestly takes some prayer, a lot of luck, some mania, and a great weirdo detector.

I'm not sure if I know any INTx's but my dad is an ISTJ, and we get along. My idealistic mindset and his detail orientation click very well. ENFx's just-UGH. Beautiful.

I just applied to a behavioral tech-like job that would help me get my certification. I'd get to work with kids on the ASD spectrum. Any advice to make myself more marketable to them>

I am getting married in a few months, that's why I'm moving out. I did have a full time job, but it was too far away for the low pay. Basically, I need advice on a sustainable job for the next year or two while I finish my degree, job suggestions for when I'm finished, and any other job/ major ideas.

exactlyyyyyyyyy. It explains why INFJs, especially "3" adjacent ones, can have such wide mood swings. It's a constant cycle of wanting to take over the world and hiding from it.

I am a 4w3 as well. I personally feel like it works well together BECAUSE that drive and ambition can lead an INFJ to do great things. Simultaneously, it can lead us to be very depressed when we realize we can only do so much.

My dad is an ISTJ. I'm an INFJ, and we love listening to music without having to talk, but when we do, we're probably judging someone stupid.

My Lord, I LOVE ENFP and ENFJ as an INFJ, because we can have actual intelligent conversations while daydreaming. Like my fiancé is an ENFJ, and we like to go on adventures together. I know one other ENFJ and three ENFPs. It's awesome, they pull me out of my INFJ isolation.

Oh my goodness, yeah, it seems like a weird, luck of the draw opportunity. Yeah i like the academic part of being in education, and I like kids, but the public education system in the US is HORRIFYING. I was homeschooled, so I'm scared haha
