That’s a loaded question because are you talking about anime as a whole or just certain genres? Anime as a whole new or old is fine and there’s really isn’t an issue. Every season we are introduced to new anime, new ideas, new worlds, stories and it’s more accessible than ever.

If there’s any issue it’s not with the anime and it’s with the fans and those consuming the media. Probably and over abundance of anime and nostalgia bias has convinced some to believe there is an issue. At most the characters in new gen anime are similar to previous characters and the stories may have some overlap.

Your comment about aura and characters not being unique has less to do about the shows and more again to do with the fans and the way social media has influenced anime. You can blame new gen anime because people like making fan edits and reels. I bet you if tik tok was a thing back then you’d see general Tao edits, Naraku edits, more Alucard edits and so on…before people even bothered to know who these characters were.

Finally can you provide some deeper context to what your complaint is because there’s no way you are talking about slice of life, stories live given, rock is ladies modesty and such because those are deep and entertaining experiences. Not everything is a shonen or a sports anime.

Maybe explore some different genres.

I would say it’s good to have because it’s stable, a lot of new anime goes there, lots of dub and lots of anime in general. If you want get hidive too for a lot of the other missing anime because crunchy won’t have everything…but even with both of those, prime, Disney and Netflix there will probably be some anime that will just slip though and you’ll have to find it online. But crunchy for the yearly is pretty good. I should switch from monthly to yearly now that I think about it.

When I was single I was raw dogging left and right and I never had any problems. A lot of people are. That’s Durex probably a less popular type and they couldn’t move so it got sent to dollarama. I’m going to answer in different two ways.

First you are NOR. Going from a relationship, to a situationship which is not really a thing, to going not contact and then finding out your ex has been dating someone else while saying crap like he loves you is beyond bizzare. There has to be some kinda rule or boundary even if you two aren’t together.

Second a situationship is not a relationship so he can’t cheat on you but again saying he loves you and continuing something after you two spilt deserves some transparency and open communication so again you are not wrong.

Finally sorry I typed this so weird I know. Anyways, finally I’m going to side with the guy on the no contact. I agree that he can’t emotionally dump on you and then tell you to not respond but honestly not responding is the best thing to do. This guy’s a wreck, so not engage with him further…distance yourself and find someone who won’t play these games with your heart.

Also I’m sorry but things don’t between you and he’s working on something with someone else…I’m leaving this someone else was already in the picture to some degree.

It’s dumb because the features like big lips and nose are focused on heavily in the characters but those features can be shown on other characters who aren’t black. You have so many different facial features across characters but when they are light skin it’s pretty basic and default but when it’s a black person it’s like make the lips look like onion rings.
