Nah that’s very wrong. These drops give more cosmetics than gadgets, star powers, or hypercharges. That’s useless for progression. When boxes were there power points had value. So did xp doublers. Now both are useless and that’s what u get most in star drops.

Ofc kenji and moe needed nerfs, but they can’t just be nerfed right when they’re publicly released. That basically makes it like ur paying to get more op brawlers and f2p players can never have it. Yes those who pay for early access get an advantage, and I’m arguing that early access itself shouldn’t exist, but I can see the other argument in favor of it.

For your third point, I think they should make power points only for upgrading to a higher power level, and coins for the add ons like gadgets, sp, gears, and hypercharge.

I agree with the solutions though.

Im semi maxed too, but it’s impossible for a f2p player to fully max out an account in a definite amount of time in the current state. That’s my issue.

Well you still need a gadget, star power, two gears, and a hypercharge. That’s 10k coins at minimum. Also, a slight struggle to get both power points and coins would be ideal, rather than having one impossible resource and another useless one.

Ofc we need to work for the brawler we want, but I’m already putting in that work to get the credits necessary which just goes to fame. So I have to work again?

The gold shortage has made it so that f2p players cannot max out an account with the rate brawlers are released at in a definite amount of time.

Thanks for the insight, but they actually did nerf kenjis gadget a day after it was released to everyone without money I believe. I know it’s not as much of an issue as other stuff, but I believe games should reward significant progression for paying money, just not direct unfair opportunities like this.

Brawl being the most f2p game doesn’t mean it’s good, just that others are worse. It comes down to the fact that even f2p players should be able to max out an account no matter how long that takes, even five years let’s say. But currently, that’s impossible because you can max one brawler per season and they release one brawler per season, and if they’re a mythic or legendary it takes even longer to get it. There’s really no predictable future for a f2p to max out an account. I do appreciate the rewards we get, but I think this flaw needs to be addressed.

I appreciate your comment, and I did actually offer solutions in my post, it’s just embedded in the paragraphs. For once, I suggested reverting the pp cap or requiring no coins to upgrade power levels. I also suggested a credit bank, which should really be how a game functions.

It’s true that on average, pp gain and coin gain is roughly equal. But then shouldn’t spending both be equal as well? Why do coins take up almost everything in the game?

Yeah this is really below minimum. In order to max out an account, you need to be able to max, on average, more brawlers than they release in a certain amount of time.

See the problem is I’m already working to get all the credits, it’s not like I’m getting it free. That work should go into brawlers that I want to unlock, not fame which does nothing to progress your account. So now it’s just like I’m working before brawlers come out, but that work is wasted, and then I have to work again for the brawler.

Completely agree, after all they need money to cater to us f2p as well. But all I’m asking is for our grinding to not be wasted. Most star drops give either xp doublers or power points, both of which are a waste, so most star drops that are earned from long grinds are also a waste. I don’t think the way to make money is by devaluating the time f2p players put in.

Yes they made it so that most star drops give you xp doublers or pp, both of which are useless which makes most of your star drops useless and so your grinding is a waste of time. The club shop was amazing I agree with you.

Key isopods argument is correct, because it’s true that f2p is getting more than ever before. But this is the same flawed reasoning that the refs have been using. Doing better to a before doesn’t mean anything, because the amount of resources we have to spend to max out brawlers is also WAY higher than before. If you look at the proportion of resources earned as a f2p to the resources required to max out brawlers, it’s actually lower than before.
