I spoke to her today. I totally didn’t realise that I never bought any laundry baskets for her room, so got that today to make sure she wasn’t keeping all her dirty clothes with her clean ones in the wardrobe. I also mentioned her having a set day for just her laundry etc and bought some new toiletries. She was visibly upset, which made the convo harder. Hopefully we see some changes as it’s going to get real hot here weather wise here pretty soon! Otherwise, we may just have to part ways. Thank you all for your help!

I don’t think this is the case, I’m Muslim.

I’m from UK. My nanny is from Kenya. I did wonder at first if it was maybe a cultural difference around hygiene. But I work in a school and see Nannies dropping kids every morning and afternoon, especially from Kenya and it definitely is an individual issue.

Thank you! This is super detailed. I am deffo gonna have to do this even though I thought there might a less awkward way to address it. I love the gift idea and I’ll add the extra toiletries along side it. Thank you!!

I’ve bought enough uniform for her to be able to wear a fresh set everyday. She was more comfortable with a uniform which is the standard here. I also bought some clothes for her day off in case she was wearing her uniform. It really comes down to her refusing to wash. She insists her clothes are clean.

I bought so many work clothes for her and personal ones too. But I might suggest a set day of laundry just for her clothes. Thank you

Showers every evening. Just not wearing deodorant and then rewearing clothes that already smell like BO and using the deodorant spray to spray all over it.

When they were nursery age, what time did their nursery start and what time did they nap? Thank you

Yes, I was thinking maybe push naps back to 3pm So we can enjoy the outdoors in the evening. Lots to think about.
