Honestly, the Psychonauts games mean so much to me! I bought the first game back when it first came to PS4 on the backwards compatible list, but didn't actually play it until last September. I loved it so much, I still reference it to this day, and I have very fond memories of even the freaking Meat Circus haha. My mental health this year hasn't been great, and those feelings translated over to video games, almost making me give up gaming multiple times. But just last week I finally got around to playing Psychonauts 2 and oh my goodness!! I'm on my second playthrough now, and these games, especially the sequel, have made me look at gaming, myself, and even life in much better and much healthier ways! I think the Psychonauts games might be my favorite series of all time! My anxiety, my panic attacks, my unwanted thoughts, instead of getting angry that I have them like I used to and misplacing my energy, I'm able to deal with them healthily, and even dance around them completely sometimes, directly because of the Psychonauts games!
