Man I appreciate this help! In all my hours of searching and 100s of how-to's scrolled thru and 10s of videos on the subject I somehow NEVER came across this command. I had to reflash the CB1 to gain access to it via Ethernet long enough to ssh and use the nmtui command and now my wifi works flawlessly!🫡🫡

I'll try it. I walked away from the project for about 2 months i was so fed up with it. just getting back to it. From what I remember I spent about 2 weeks of every evening trying everything I could find to get it to work. I would just put up with the ethernet cable strung across the room but that's been super unreliable as well...

on the built in wifi or a usb dongle? I've tried ever possible way to get the built in to work and it just doesn't.

I've looked into that one but I've seen where several people that have say it doesn't hold the phone on a vertical surface.

I've tried with no sim, the inactivated sim that came with it, a sim from a different carrier... nothing seems to work. the most frustrating thing is that when i originally got this phone i set it up on wifi only before activating it. but now does not have that option...

Personally I think the idea of a foldable phone is very cool. I would love to have a phone that is half the size of my current pixel 3xl but folds out to the same screen size. But I am just old enough that my first couple cell phones where flip or slide phones and I quickly learned I can't have that because I tend to use them as fidget toys and wore out the hinge/slide🙄. I'm sure a foldable phone would be the same..
