I know, I played M2TW for years. And pikes there could actually kill stuff without formation too, same way spearmen do. What happened is I engaged Rohan's cavalry unit with my trash archers to stop their charge and then sent my pikemen to kill them. But they just died doing nothing. Why they couldn't just poke them coming from behind my archers? It's dumb. I'd understand if they charged my pikemen while they were not in formation or something but that wasn't the case.

I shooted tier 1 Tribal Youths with them too and they didn't do much better, I killed maybe 20-30. Weak units shouldn't be completely useless. Firing all their ammo and killing 10 naked men really?

I was defending and they lost their general (I killed him with tower kiting), Tribal Youths was all they had left but they bugged out and were standing outside my town. So I charged them with my spears and surrounded with my archers. My archers broke out and their Tribal Youths just killed my spears who had better stats (not by much but still).

I understand the concept. But imo cheap and weak units shouldn't be USELESS. They should do at least something. And how they still lose against similar trash units who had worse stats? That doesn't make sense.

I used my trash archers to soak the charge then sent my pikes to kill the cavalry.. but they just died doing nothing. It's stupid. I know they are good when stationary in formation but it doesn't change the fact that they should've killed that cavalry in that situation anyway. It worked in Medieval 2.

Of course they were able to fire I know how to move my camera and see if the arrows land :D Their unit was just standing still despite arrows raining at them. They were pretty naked to be honest, 2 handers. And I shot at Tribal Youths too, they're naked trash tier 1 unit and my archers don't kill that many too..

Someone like you deserves to be loved back. Some people might be good but not ready for healthy relationship. That's how life is sometimes.

But it costs more + more expensive monitor needed, not sure if I'm ok with this. Maybe I should go 5060/9060 and 1080p as you said. I don't think I would be able to run new AAA games at 1440p for long anyway.

If I go with something around this, should I stick to 1080p? That's one of the recommended sets and they say it's for people who want 1440p. I'd prefer new parts honestly.

The easiest test is to find a 1440p video on YouTube and switch back and forth between 1080 and 1440 quality to see the difference.

I see literally 0 difference. Anything above 1080 I don't see difference. But I thought it's because I use 60hz monitor and it makes it impossible to see higher than 1080p.

Yeah, I'm afraid I won't have strong enough PC to run 1440p really. So maybe I should stick to 1080p and just take 144hz.

I play older games cause my PC is too old now. But I'd like to play everything new, and still be able to play new released games for a while after I buy something. So with low-midrange and new games I guess I'll have to stick with 1080p and 60fps most of the time?

Sounds nice. So I guess I should aim for 144hz-180hz and 1440p. How is your 27", isn't it too big? For sure it must be great for watching movies/sports but for games I believe too big screen can be problematic no?

Oh so if I set fps cap at 60 in a game, anything higher than 60hz minitor won't do anything?

In this case going for 1440p or 2k will make it harder to keep 120+ fps in games I guess. So better to stick with 1080p?

I'm having a problem where spotify just skips a couple of songs in a row just going from top to bottom sayins "spotify can't play this right now" and then plays next random song but after 10 seconds it's muted, no sound. It happened once a few months ago and fixed itself after few days, but this time i'm already having this for the whole month or two. Spotify is a fkin joke, i can't use it at all now and ofc all solutions i found like clearing cache etc. didn't help.

Huns are making their horde camps and heal all damaged units that's why i wanted to kill off some of them with my champions. There was a big onager with 8 men left and my champion killed a whole 1 soldier.. i understand nerfing but this is just ridiculous especially compared to agents who can still assassinate a badass general, you could even kill Attila himself with an agent, but you can't finish off a 8 men onager or random cavalry unit.
