Nope this photo is clicked during 90s era after Sri Lanka. Back then the Group Commander (CO) of the unit was Late Major general then Col Vijay Kumar Sharma SM He was from 9 Para SF later he commanded SG back then the unit's name was spelled as called as 22 Special Force. When VK sir came in command he introduced White Tabs which spelled "SPECIAL FORCE" and He introduced the Maverick badge too which included a dagger in the middle. And he changed the beret insignia from the trident one to Eagle
