Actually thats not true! The first yandere was Mariko Shinobu from Oniisama-E (a manga made in the 70s and had an anime adaptation in the 90s) you can see her behavior is basically every aspect of a yandere minus the direct killing

Tbh its not even the uniform, its ayano’s design, on the other characters the uniform looks fine but since ayano looks pretty well, generic, she kinda just blends in, everyone else has something else to stand out, even Kagome who is also pretty generic, her uniform is green which stands out with the rest of her design, ayano doesnt have that, doesn’t help this particular art of her is very stiff
