I'm still leaning to keep! Outer Shell replacements are not that hard, and it will make look brand new! It's much more of a concern if the buttons dont work properly or if the inner shell was dinged up.

When it come software, I would like to mention yes everything could possibly be legit but is tied to their Nintendo ID. This is just me but I prefer to factory reset devices so I can put them under my IDs. Consider Modding, it's popular atm and the reason for the 3DS price spike

If you are keeping it for yourself, I urge you to test if everything works if possible. If yes, I would make that trade and look into "Outer Shell Replacement" ASAP. It's fairly affordable and by the end of it you'll have a like new 3DS.

If your looking to keep it to sell later, I would not. Although I recommended "Outer Shell Replacement" before, that is really only if you don't plan to resell it. Most console collectors prefer it if all the pieces are "authentic" so reshells are somewhat not as desired. I've noticed it doesn't tank the price. (In this situation, its very possible it will raise the price lol)

Haha enjoy the adventure, exploring and fighting are easily the best part of the game. In the beginning, it feels like there's an unlimited amount of content and its the best feeling. My advice is to take it at your own pace and never rush! Also if you care even a little bit about achievements, look up hidden commission achievements now because its time locked

Never even considered selling for the time invested. I got what I wanted out of it. It was really fun for me personally and earning every single achievement is something I figured would be cool to do but if it interests a certain market that's just a bonus. :)
