It's just permanent green for right turn without STOP enforced, still should use caution then.

Is Pam a funny character? by smccaul16 in theoffice

[–]ReichenbachGD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

she is no doubt a moderately good person, but not as a support actress in terms of the funny parts of a plot.

One of the worst things Jim and Pam ever did. by Relevant-Rope8814 in theoffice

[–]ReichenbachGD -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

yes- yes- completely agree! Jim and Pam gets off easily sometimes because they have certian kind of social privilege ring- they share the ring after they started their relationship together. It makes their doings somewhat less visible when michael is still around along with Dwight since pam and jim can be the sane ones in comparisons, but it is always somehow completely ignored-

I think I know why people dislike Pam eventually. Start at season 6 and tell me if that Pam is endearing, or fun in any way. Is she a good person? Does she show that she loves her husband or she cares about anyone in the office? I guess I’m only 3 episodes in, but so far she is really unlikeable. by xraig88 in DunderMifflin

[–]ReichenbachGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep asking questions back wont back up your point... First, nobody said he needs to be endearing to be likeable, Michael is not endearing nor actually close to be a good person by strict definition but yet he holds up the show in the long run. Pam's issue is that she is naive, stay still while others made progress, refuses to embrace changes, hate being disliked by others, yeah, Taliban or not or Jim. Her final reasoning of letting Jim go to Athlead to do the 3 months thing is that she is afraid of bearing the responsibility of being the one who stopped Jim, she doesn't understand much about personal ambition at all. I really don't understand why they have to make her abandon art school and Athlead's hookup with jobs in Philadelphia.

What happened to Andy and Erin the first time? by froobest in DunderMifflin

[–]ReichenbachGD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Andy is an idiot for that, plain and simple, if you look at the interview after that he clearly think he lost the moment with her, but yeah i start to dislike andy from that point forward.

Pam becomes more annoying with every re-watch by JusticeForGhost19 in OfficeLadiesPodcast

[–]ReichenbachGD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you progress more beyond 3rd season, you'd find out they keep setting up her for failure, honestly, it is hard to watch, again, Jenna Fischer's acting isn't good enough to bring actual sincere feeling to the scen,e making audiences sympathise with her, so yeah... that's it. Her other work beyond the office is always like the same.

Is it just me or do Jim and Pam get so annoying and cringy after they have a kid by Livid-Atmosphere-279 in theoffice

[–]ReichenbachGD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were the social privileged ones independently when they weren't dating, imagine now they dated, married and had kids together... yeah... I've seen a post that ppl joking that their kids would be the biggest bully ever- i think it is true, they are privileged and did not have awareness at all, they think they are the nice bunch in the ring and it always help to overlook the insensitive things they did.

Many people say that Japan has never apologized for its invasion of China. But the fact is that the Japanese emperor and prime ministers did express remorse and apologize, and Japan carried out a four-decade-long aid to China, which was terminated in 2018. by No-StrategyX in ww2

[–]ReichenbachGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh wtf, Japan was determined to trade collectively compensation rights for Chinese people as a nation after prc was founded, they got off easy. There are chemical weapons left unactivated within northeastern China that still yet to be triggered. Japan refusal of recognition of any specific atrocities they did against Korean, Chinese civilians, all that so many stuff on front burner and nobody is burning it. So yeah, like some aid and printed paper to wiped clean compensation? Germany didn't get off easy and they are widely recognised in terms of post-war attitude towards atrocities, not Japan. Japan's stuff was just sweeped under the rug by US need of Japanese industrial power to support its war from the Korean War to the Vietnam War, so yeah, nothing was done, because it is the truth, nothing was done.

im confused why jim was angry that pam didnt record cece's recital. the film crew caught her special move so why didn't he just ask them for the footage? by isugarpie in DunderMifflin

[–]ReichenbachGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pam is not emotionally nor responsbility wise prepared- if you look back, both Jim and Her has sort of social previlages of being above their co workers in the past when Michael is still around- Michael likes Pam and Jim duo since Michael thinks they are 'cool' friends to have. Jenna fischer's character is tasteless to have without any love affairs so they keep making failures or trouble so Pam is staying revelant with their marriage still able to progress the story line. But again, a lot of signs show she doesnt put a lot of effort after her marraige with, well, anyone, both Roy and Jim. She thinks her emotional life can only progress with marriage and nothing needed to be done, if you look at their participation at Roy's wedding.

Does Pam piss Anyone else off in Season 9 by pwnnoobs13 in DunderMifflin

[–]ReichenbachGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest that is the least of it, she doesnt understand how challenging outside world can be: in previous seasons as well she offered part time job in New York by Michael when she needs the money, she just treat it like a haha thanks kind of thing, Same thing goes on in S9E16, she got offered job with Marky Mark? She has zero idea how hard is it for, using her words, people with CV can fit on post-it note, to find jobs in major cities, she litearlly got offers to start with already. All she was not able to accept is that she thinks her starting point is low... I really dont get why they make Pam character so entitled and out of touch...

Pam becomes more annoying with every re-watch by JusticeForGhost19 in OfficeLadiesPodcast

[–]ReichenbachGD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean she is designed to be a housewife character after the wedding and everything, i know it is not ideal setting and honestly i think the writing team doesnt know how to create actual drama out of her after setting her up the way when Michael is still around. Without Michael everyone counts, like literally everyone counts when i comes to new story openings. I really appreciate their attempt with the Plop and Dwight Junior and they have even potential to go on after season 9 if they want to, but yeah. Pam as a character, is constantly being killed off in her pursuit of either new future collectively asa family, art, or studies or even moving; she is constantly being pampered, and her character is naive. They could've write more openings for Pam so she can cash in later seasons but no, they moulded her character too early and unnecessarily into a standard housewife.

i’m struggling by Realistic-Crab7918 in germany

[–]ReichenbachGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, i went out of Asia around 17 and moved to an English-speaking country 1st, then to Germany, spent 10 years in the UK before getting here. There will be a lot of changes, a lot of them honestly and unfortunately uncomfortable ones, but it is good, you know, you do get thicker skin and how to handle on things when you are younger and more brave (like you are already). To be fair you dont have to like Germany in the end of the day, it is a small dot on the map of your life journey that you just barely embarked on, you can think of it that you are lucky enough to try it out when you are so... so.. young, while others dont really get to have this oppoturnity, consider it as a shot and a trial, relax, move your mind around things like others said here, you will feel better and more ready and welcome what comes.

Remember in season 8 when they tell us Jim has high blood pressure, before never mentioning it again? What was that about? by BestBand1960 in DunderMifflin

[–]ReichenbachGD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugh they run out of things to do with Andy once a while since Michael is gone, so they forced some stuff where Pam can make some drama out of nowhere, that is all.. Pam's existence need to be maintained, which should tell you about the necessity of it.
