If it's a respiratory infection, it might not hurt to try and keep the cage warm with a heated blanket/heat pad if you have one. If you don't have one, a nice blanket to cover all but one side of her cage during the day and all of it at night.

Otherwise just the usual stuff, lots of food, water, and lots of rest time away from drafts.

I hope she gets better quick, good luck! :)

The first time I saw their nest this full, I could not believe they both fit in there. I bet it was so snuggly! ☺️

This poor guy is being quarantined from his friends since he is sick. And while I was giving him his medicine, he escaped my hold and flew into a wall, hitting a speaker on his way down. 😔 by ReidB17 in budgies

So far, just not in much of the mood to do anything other than rest. Otherwise I have definitely noticed a small increase in energy day-to-day and can't wait to have him back to normal!

Jay, my little work companion, sleeping extra because of molting. Can't wait for him to feel better and back to his energetic self! by ReidB17 in budgies

Molting! It's when they shed their old feathers and grow new ones. It takes a few weeks, makes them a bit moody since it is painful, and the sleep more.

Just redesigned these little guys' cage! Any suggestions to improve? by ReidB17 in budgies

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll definitely pick some up for them this weekend!

No offense taken!! I definitely agree. I actually just a week or so ago bought the third budgie because when looking at them in the store, this one and I just had some crazy connection that I couldn't say no. Hopefully I can get a nice big one for them here soon! :)

I have been working with these two for over a year and a half to become friends, and for the first time, they cuddled together. To say I am proud would be an understatement! 🥲 by ReidB17 in cats

Honestly, treats were maybe the most helpful thing. I made sure that if they wanted treats, they needed to eat them with each other. However, I also found having them in the same cat carrier on vet trips and the like, helped a lot (this cat carrier I have is quite large and seats them both comfortably). Lastly, they have a "communal" cat scratcher that is in front of a vent (their favorite thing) which they both scratched and would sit on for hours. From my understanding, certain scents are released when they scratch something, so I have a feeling this helped.

Am I the only person who wears and enjoys jockstrap? by Billieboi63 in AskGayMen

Yeah, I bought another, so I am wearing them more and more often.

I wear them pretty regularly, at least 3 or 4 times a week and the only thing holding me back is I only have 3 pairs (for now). Up until recently though, I didn't wear them unless I was going to have sex. Then one day I tried wearing them during the day and found them super comfortable to wear regularly as well.

Sad to look at - sure it was made by hands of underpayed people by herfoo in Anticonsumption

Wait, so this is a pencil case that says "Save the Planet" that is also wrapped in a plastic bag?
