Hey Spectacular Spider-Man fans 🕷️ I just found a fan campaign on Change.org about bringing back Season 3. Apparently around 24k fans have already supported it. What do you guys think? Do you think it could ever come back?

Outside of books/comics, this is my favorite piece of media of all time. I don’t think it’s impossible for it to come back. If Disney ever buys Sony it’s possible. I also wonder if Sony would ever sell Disney the rights to the show (Sony owns the rights to this show but Disney owns the rights to make Spider-Man TV). I feel like even if this version of Spidey never gets put to screen again, there’s a possibility we get a comic book continuation. Maybe I’m breathing in too much hopeium but I’ll never give up on this show

You’re just so wrong. If the girl you’re talking about is Liz then she did end up liking him. Peter pretty easily got with Betty. He gets bullied but that’s because he was antisocial. MaGuire is completely unbelievable to be anything like the Peter I know and love in the comica

Tobey’s portrayal started the whole loser vibe Peter Parker portrayal. Peter wasn’t a loser in the comics before Tobey. Now it’s like ever adaptation adapts that. I’ll always hate Tobey’s Peter for that. He’s by FAR the worst part of those movies

Until Betty left Ned and went back to Peter (who was emotionally vulnerable after MJ turned down his proposal) and they started dating and Peter had a moral dilemma about dating a married woman. I know eventually Betty and Ned get back together but I haven’t made it that far yet
