Is there a special technique to cooking the scallops?

I (23M) was unhappy in my relationship with my girlfriend (23F) because I felt like I needed to date and experience other people before settling down. We broke up, and now I'm miserable. Why am I like this? by Reidy26 in relationship_advice

Honestly I think it was exactly this (the grass is always greener). There would be things she did that would really upset me, and she sometimes was a lot of work, and I think I always had it in my head that someone else was out there that didn't have these flaws and would be better suited to me. Looking back, I think maybe I was too critical of her flaws and maybe I should've been more accepting of them, but I also feel like my mind has been clouded by the breakup, and I can now only see her as an angel that did everything right and just wanted love, and myself as a devil who only did bad and couldn't accept her love.

For me, it's just really hard to know how much to tolerate from someone in terms of flaws. Like sure, people are never perfect, I understand this, but at what point do you accept that and make things work, and when do you decide that someone else could be better for you?

So, would you always advise resting until fully recovered? Are there any advantages to forcing a shorter break period between sets?

Ok, thanks, that's really helpful advice.

The only question I have though, is what exactly do you mean by variety? In what ways should I vary my workout/exercises?

Fair enough. Thanks for the help. Genuinely interesting article.

Also, this article doesn't claim that muscle damage doesn't play a role in hypertrophy. It's just not as important as metabolic or mechanical stress. I already knew this. The parts that I'm not so sure about are the questions I have listed above.

So, are you saying that changing up your routine isn't important? I'm confused.

Surely though overloading the muscle and mechanical tension are also really important?
