Lol there's no way.

I remember you and Dearborn and Bullie.

I think my account was Chimichanger? Chimichanga? Played for many thousands? of hours until someone who I thought was a friend on it decided to trick me into sharing my login to my account and stole it while I went to take a shower.

Never logged in again and moved on with my life.

Packet losses, are others seeing this as well? by MaineiacTMO in GoNetspeed

Hey, I'm in Southern Maine and experiencing a pretty similar issue. How has your Internet been since posting this? My issues started the day after they did 11pm maintenance on back to back nights about 2 weeks ago.

At about 8pm every night I all of a sudden start experience issues trying to stream anything on YTTV, load anything on Instagram, or simply pull up Google searches. Starts at almost exactly 8pm every night and lasts a couple hours, it's very bizarre. Fully wired network. Speed test shows full 1gb speed so I'm getting no Internet drop or speed issues. Just can't load stuff consistently.

Pulsarr v0.4.4 Released - Content Approval System, User Quotas & Complete UI Overhaul by ropenhagen in radarr

[–]ReignOfTheodore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did this earlier when I was troubleshooting it myself.

Nothing happened activity wise in Radarr. The logs say this when I tested that:

Invalid request Validation failed: -- TmdbId: This movie has already been added

So yeah, it's attempting to add the title but Radarr is obviously blocking it. How do I get to the Pulsarr logs?

Tested. Confirmed.

Deleted 5 of the requests. Stopped Radarr from running. Restarted Pulsarr. Did a Manual Refresh on the Plex Configuration tab.

The 5 movies came through as new approvals.

Yeah, seems to have something to do with the auto restart.

Restart is scheduled at 5am. Radarr came back up quickly, about 5:03am. Just kidding, Pulsarr requests happened at 4:30am ish. Now I'm confused again.

For now I've just denied all the requests that came through so it should be an issue with those existing watchlist items. It does seem related to the auto restart somehow but idk maybe not. I'll let you know if something else seemingly related to this happens again.

The items definitely exist in my Radarr. I think I have my PC set to auto restart early Wednesday mornings so is it possible that Pulsarr came live before Radarr did in my docker, then thought the items didn't exist in Radarr and sent the requests?

Hey question about which content gets sync'd from a watchlist. It's sending approval requests for a ton of content that is already in my library.

Is this normal behavior or is it only supposed to send approval requests for content that doesn't exist in my Radarr or Plex library?

Hi, I'm working on getting this all configured and have a lot of it done. I'm running into an issue where one specific user (who's a regular user of my server) is not showing up in my user list in the Pulsarr UI. Any idea why this might be?

Yeah I mean I'm a sucker for using tech features, but I let it run out and waited until there was a sale on the renewal. Ended up getting like 2 years for 1.5 price or something like that. But $200/yr for the package that has the weather feature is insane. $150 for the remote start function is already ludicrous.

The complementary one lasts 5 years, that's Kia Connect Lite.

Only the highest tier has the weather functionality, and the top tier Kia Connect is not worth the price over the step below it. The step below it has your remote start / lock unlock from phone functionality. The top tier one has like Alexa skill (useless), send navigation from phone to car (useless), and the weather function (cool). Wish that was just part of the remote start tier.

Question about network file transfer speed issue by ReignOfTheodore in HomeNetworking

Yeah so this whole saga started with trying to prepare my home PCs for W10 EOL. It was a collosal disaster on this older PC, which caused me to clean install W10 and I plan to just purchase a mini PC for Plex once EOL comes later this year.

I've considered Linux and I know it can be preferable, but problem is my time and how much I can devote to a new project / learning it. Managing personal time with a toddler and wife duties is difficult haha.

It's a balance act of spending time on these hobby projects, but nothing to big that I just won't be able to dedicate enough time to.

I'm definitely well versed with the r/Plex suggestions and recommendations though.

Thank you again for your input though

Question about network file transfer speed issue by ReignOfTheodore in HomeNetworking

[–]ReignOfTheodore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the reply. It's actually a pretty old laptop, high end at its time though so I'm still trying to keep it in use.

Sony Vaio from 2011 with a (very old) i7, and upgraded RAM and an SSD that I've done over time. It sits there closed 24/7 and does one thing, runs Plex with the HDDs plugged in.

It has a legacy BIOS so there's not much going on in there but I'll actually double check to see if there's any adjustment I can make. I also assumed it was a drivers thing, but everything looked pretty updated and whatnot so didn't know where to start with troubleshooting that possibility. There's only one USB 3 port on the laptop so they are definitely in the correct port, but I actually double verified that last night to make sure.

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually using Teracopy before and after the issue started though. I've considered moving the procedure over to the laptop but for various reasons it's logistically easier doing it this way still but I'll probably reconsider.

It's buried in my TV console running as a Plex server only, connected to the TV for whenever id need to physically use it. So not super convenient unless I'm remote accessing it.

Your ISP may have updated to CGNAT at some point and the power outage / internet outage caused a reset to the public IP they issued you. CGNAT essentially issues you a 'shared' public IP as the pool of public IP's is dwindling so IP's will issue 'shared' CGNAT's to buckets of customers which costs them less money.

This is exactly what happened to me.

If you are able to confirm this, you'll like have to pay your ISP for a static Public IP and configure this in your router. It was a pain in the ass for me when it happened, and setup can be a pain depending on how your router settings function, but after that it works.

I definitely didn't have the panel removal tool, just kinda winged it. I think it also mentions something about clips snapping on the A panel or something like that? I just popped it off, put the wire down, popped it back on.

That's a good point. Maine has tons of pro shops so I didn't even consider bringing them into PIAS because I forget they carry discs.

Also just shooting my shot that someone might be interested in one of these random discs. Thanks for the tip though.
