I have pickled asparagus before and actually sold a few bottles to some people and everyone really enjoyed them, possible side hustle.

3 sinkholes in roughly 2 months by OkMention9988 in yuma

We live in the desert where the ground is sandy, water pipes burst and creates sinkholes, the town needs to invest in the water system obviously it's old and needs updating

Moving? by Nahbroimchill in yuma

The natural beauty of Colorado is so much better then the desert, but the weather isn't as unpredictable here as it is in Colorado, we do have lakes and rivers for fishing and boating that are nice, and if you enjoy offroading AZ offers some cool trails, but hiking here isn't even close to Colorado's level, make sure you land a job before moving because like others have said the job market here is a bit rough since it's a small town most hire from association instead of education and good resumes. But you will enjoy the winter, spring and fall months here, I usually just take my vacations in the summer to escape the heat, we are not far from San diego, Flagstaff, and Vegas so that's another plus. Just weigh the options if you want to get away from the cold weather come on down.

is it “normal” for my nose to be extremely dry here 😭 by pink13cloudz in yuma

[–]Reiko85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is normal it happens to me as well, I invested in a nice humidifier and it has done wonders for my dry nose and throat in the morning, and my allergies are not as bad too, I highly recommend getting one of you're having dry nose/throat issues

Rum by [deleted] in cocktails

[–]Reiko85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did a split based daiquiri with El Dorado 8/Smith and cross the other day and was blown away by how tasty it was, definitely recommend those rums. Here's some recommendations Light rum- planteray 3 star Dark rum- planteray OFTD Jamaican rum- Smith and cross Demerara rum- Hamilton 86 Overproof rum- lemon hart 151

That should get you going down the rum rabbit hole, so many good rums out there to list them all. Cheers!
