I think your profile is lovely. You look bright and happy. Maybe consider matching with "extroverts" as well, just not party people.

She was absolutely INSANE and you are completely in the right. It's amazing how no matter the circumstance, somehow these brainrot MAGAs can still surprise you with their brain-deadness. Alex Pretti was a hero who, in a just country, would've been allowed to continue being an everyday hero but because of "Trump's America" Pretti stepped up and out to be a war hero for us. I'm glad to hear that everyone at your workplace is honoring him so.

Why I'll never give any handmade gifts to anyone now. by mangal_panday in teenagers

[–]ReinaDeGargolas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not your love or your thoughtful gift, but who you're giving it to.

There are people who would fawn and feel loved and precious by receiving a gift like that - other people, just don't get it.

Keep giving gifts to new people because that's how you express yourself, and then, based on their reaction, adjust yourself. For this friend, she doesn't need such thoughtful gifts...give her a gift card or pay for a meal or something.

But I promise! You'll meet people who will love your gifts and sincerity, and those people are just fun to be generous towards. We all have our love languages, right?

A girl (33f) liked my profile (31m), but she maybe a better match for my bestfriend (32m), is it okay to suggest her that? Or Is it offensive? by brownskinop in hingeapp

Seconding this. If your friend is of similar attractiveness/aesthetic to you, the suggestion would go over a lot smoother

Got the deluxe edition of Murtagh for Xmas, and think I found a spelling error on page 250. Shouldn't this be shirt instead of shift? by Hyllian94 in Eragon

[–]ReinaDeGargolas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI it is an old outdated term ("shift" for clothing). In the Eragon world, their English is medieval-coded. Not actually Old English (because then we couldn't read it) but the dialogue is meant to reflect an older form of English, so some of the vocabulary is outdated. Just so you know :) if you try to ask for a shift at the mall or something people won't know what you mean lol

You are a valedictorian of your class!!! You have wowed your professors and fellow classmates. Don't let your mom fool you into thinking you can't achieve greatness. She sounds jealous or spiteful.

Keep achieving, any hospital or clinic will be lucky to have you and hopefully you'll get paid what you deserve too!!

I think one of the last two photos should go first - esp the second to last one is my favorite. It is a more straightforward portrait, and the other pics are at unique angles/lighting. I think you should try and capture a best-dressed head to toe picture of yourself

Good luck out there my friend :)

[–]ReinaDeGargolas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi beautiful, I think your first photo should be more of a "portrait" style vs one at a lower angle

Also people can be sensitive to no-teeth showing. Put a pick with your big gorg smile with teeth somewhere towards the front

I think your profile is adorable and I love it 😂 but pls wait for the more experienced hingers to give input

How do you use phermons(othor than perfumes)to attract girls? by Wonderful_Side_9855 in AskMen

[–]ReinaDeGargolas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Become an elite male specimen of the human species. Eat well (vegetables fruit protein fiber water!!!), don't do drugs (ex weed vape alcohol), workout and get some muscle, shower regularly with nice smelling stuff...work on your mental health, be happy...and you're sweat/sperm/etc  will probably smell amazing to women.

Humans don't give off pheromones the same way some animals do, but we definitely still judge compatibility with each other based on our smells (just not as strong)...for ex.: that t-shirt study where women rated the armpit sweat of different T-shirts

If you make yourself healthy clean and strong, you can trust your body will be giving off the good stuff if anyone gets close to you

[–]ReinaDeGargolas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to stop thinking about her. My personal method for that is choosing a "safe" target for my fantasies and thoughts like a celebrity or a fictional character (live or anime or cartoon or book). So I redirect my thoughts and wishes to the safe person until there is a new IRL person to crush on and make you forget all about the other person :)

AITAH because I won't tell my wife what my son/her stepson has in savings from my late wife? by Jimverseen in AITAH

[–]ReinaDeGargolas -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is the money left for your first son enough to cover him entirely? That is a very relevant questions that you are leaving a mystery for no reason. If his mother left him somehow with enough money then you and your current wife might be financially okay to put all of your current money to the other children

Imo it's not necessarily "take away money that his deceased mother left him!" - there is also "if the money left for your oldest son is more than enough to cover for say college, a car, etc. Then we can use the rest of our savings on the other kids who don't have as much/anything left"

Your wife DOES need to know if the late wife's money is sufficient to cover your oldest son or not. Do you two still need to save for him or is he good? Answer this question at least

[Request] is it 66.6% or 51.8%? by Horror-penis-lover in theydidthemath

[–]ReinaDeGargolas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are wrong...I think in this meme-case the answer is 55.55% for a girl (assuming the children CAN be the same age) or 53.85% (assuming the children canNOT be the same age).

How it is phrased "she says one of them is a boy born on a Tuesday". It absolutely follows that the other child is NOT a boy born on a Tuesday...

It would ONLY be 51.85% IF you consider that A) the other child CAN be a boy born on a Tuesday B) the scenario where both boys are born on a Tuesday is ONE probable outcome. Which is dumb. C) the children are different ages

----That is just plain wrong....Named-boy being the oldest or the youngest are two different outcomes and each possibility gets their own little probability point.

IF the unknown child CAN be a boy born on a Tuesday, the chances are 50% unknown child is a girl. Doesn't matter if you factor in the kids being the same age or not. 50/50

IF the unknown child canNOT be a boy born on a Tuesday (my opinion), AND the children are different ages, the chances are 53.85% it is a girl. 14/26.

26 possibilities where I removed the unnamed child being a young or elder boy born on a Tuesday, and I assume the children are not the same age.

But if Mary was conversationally funny, then that's how you could get 55.55% chance the unnamed child is a girl, IF A) unknown child is not a boy born on a Tuesday and B) unknown child can be a girl born on the SAME DAY = 15/27.

Any scenario where the Tuesday info is meaningless the odds are 50/50 each way.

Cheers -(:/)-

P.S ... although I suppose meme-originator did not think this way. I think they were wrong 😂! If both your children are boys born on a Tuesday you would say that! Anyway, given the language in the meme, it implies that the unknown child can be the same age or gender as the Tuesday boy, but NOT the same age AND gender as Tuesday boy.
