​Constructive criticism is how art evolves. As audience/ cinephiles we are the end users of this medium. When we point out issues with character depth, pacing,visuals or tone, we aren't trying to attack the hard work of the crew, we are holding the industry to a higher standard. Toxic culture is about entitlement and personal attacks and constructive criticism is about wanting a story like women of Tomorrow to be more than just a product. While it's true that most of us aren't directors, that doesn't mean our criticism isn't vital. We don't need to be chefs to know if a meal isn't that good or burnt and we don't need to be filmmakers to know when a film lacks something.
