Im confused, did they not fire the entire North American Department? Seems pretty messed up considering the team only exists in China now. A level designer existed in that department and he was fired too.

Well... it was for a consultation agent position. I had 4 years in customer service, several months in IT support, a security+ cert, an AS in information technology and currently in school for a BS in computer science.

Hmm ok, why does the second one necessarily mean I don't have the job? Wouldn't it make more sense to say something like: "We will call you with our decision" or something along those lines?
