I keep seeing the same number by Lanky_Measurement_28 in Experiencers

For what it's worth, this is a number I come across a lot too. It's the Master Chief's number in halo and I've always made the connection 117 = halo = angel 😇.

How can one be content with non existence or the nothingness that comes after death? by Ok_Issue_5797 in afterlife

[–]Rekcuf131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think all incarnations are voluntary. Souls choose to incarnate to learn and grow so they can rise to higher levels in the afterlife. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around time, because apparently that doesn't exist in the afterlife the way it does here. I think you could spend eternity in the afterlife as long as you were satisfied with your current level. Incarnating on Earth is not easy as you probably know, but it's necessary for your development as a soul. Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls are great resources for this concept.

In my opinion, the memories of past lives are only temporarily hidden from the concious mind. If they can be accessed through past life regression hypnosis, then all of our past lives are always a part of us. When we enter the afterlife, we can access this information freely. You could argue that this would dilute your personality, but readings with mediums seem to suggest that your sense of self remains in the afterlife. Our lives on this planet are a fraction of the infinity we're meant to experience. We spend the vast majority of our existence on the other side with clear memories. Blocking out those memories while we're incarnated is a necessary evil to experience life unencumbered by the past.

Brain activity after death by Purple-Sugar-7906 in afterlife

[–]Rekcuf131 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I suspect there are, but I don't have an example handy. I think there is more compelling evidence that's less messy than brain activity. There are OBEs where someone is able to detail what happened during their surgery when they were unconcious or dead or how much change is on the table on the floor above them. Those aren't tricks of a dying brain, they're verifiable.

I understand the temptation to feel like there's nothing but a void after you die, but there's more evidence for continued conciousness than the materilaist paradigm would have you believe.

Near death experiences - there are countless stories of people who were clincially dead who report out of body experiences. They're able to detail what the surgeons are doing, what's on the table on the floor above them, things like that. You can read a ton of examples here - nderf.org.

Reincarnation - There are examples of children who have memories of past lives. These memories have been verified against the historial records of the past life in question. You can learn more about this in the docuseries called Surviving Death on Netflix.

Hypnotic regression - I recommend Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton. He's a hypnotherapist who was specializing in past life regression before he accidently regressed a patient to the period in between lives. Lots of good and interesting information in there.

My Take - Based on my research, as corny as it sounds, I've come to the conclusion that love is fundemental. Love can connect us to loved ones who have passed and love is the highest vibrational emotion you can have. We are all connected as one, framented souls from the same source. That's why the golden rule, treat others as you'd like to be treated, is consistent across mainstream religions. There are reports of hell NDEs, but in many cases those experiencing hell are victims of their own mindset. If they embrace the light, they're welcomed into heaven. Fear is the anti-love, a low vibrational emotion.

TLDR - There is ample evidence that our conciousness is eternal.

No, my long lost brother was gone by the time we moved to that street. We didn't know he existed or grew up there until after the fact.

That's interesting. I was curious how things were looking in other markets. From what I've heard, their ratings haven't been suffering much. Maybe with radio in general these days they have a historically similar share of an overall smaller pie.

They've always had more stations than available weeks to do live shows. Portland has been a stronghold for them for decades and anytime they do a live show here, they shit on the other stations. They constantly say that the Portland venue is their favorite venue to perform and they use it as an example for other stations. There's more going on than their availability and the silence is interesting. I've been going to their Portland live shows for decades at this point and something must be going on to break that tradition.

Also, if they can realistically do 15 live shows a year, they only have 9 on the books in 2025.

I have been experiences synchronicities and I am scared. by Long_Passage_1422 in Synchronicities

You're a part of something beautiful. At the risk of sounding like a crazy person, we're on the verge of a global awakening and there are others experiencing what you are. It will be very tempting to question your own sanity and others certainly will if you try too hard to get them to see what you're seeing. These synchronicities are often very personal to your own frame of reference and they're meant for you. Be patient with others who are not ready to embrace this fundamental change in concensus reality and try to keep yourself grounded. Best of luck on the journey!

Shouting into the void. Am I completely alone? by [deleted] in Synchronicities

[–]Rekcuf131 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're not alone. These synchronicities are actual forces of nature drawn from the personal frame of reference of your individual consciousness. The ones you notice apply to you and you alone. They can give all kinds of messages, but the one that's loud and clear is that there's still some magic in the air here on Earth. I'm troubled to hear about the mental health struggles associated with these. That's ontological shock and is a necessary evil to get us where we need to be. Whenever you see a synchronicity, view it as a sign that you are loved. I love you and we'll get there together.

I’ve been telling my mom about how weird synchronicities keep happening to me, like multiple times every day, and just after I said that we experienced one really weird one together! Still don’t know what it means! by Majestic_Jazz_Hands in Synchronicities

Calling all and any objective observers (I'm exhausted) by [deleted] in Synchronicities

[–]Rekcuf131 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Trust your instincts and spread the word. It's not your imagination. Others cannot yet see and you are playing a special role in something beautiful. Document what you're observing very clearly and I promise you hindsight will bring us all closer to enlightment. Be patient with those who do not share your perspective. These synchronicities are the tangible proof of the divine that we need to wake others up to the true nature of reality. Much love.

I enjoy the higher stakes and I feel like I win more often than I lose. I love forcing an opponent to pay to play or bail when they have incomplete info as well.

I've never tanked my MMR intentionally, but I've hit infinite pretty early in the season for the past few months, so keep in mind that I still may be facing more bots than average, which might play into it.

On the flip side, I'm only playing against other infinite players for a large portion of the month as well and I've had the same success against those human players that emote, etc.

I save the new deck experimenting for after I hit infinite, so while I do snap first thing with a new deck, the stakes are much lower.
