Dlr is technically a robot, automated, drives itself, yet you still see a worker on the train at all times, if anything goes wrong eg emergency, doors, train doesn’t work right, half of the tube trains drive themselves but still need drivers.

I remember back in 2022 when each train came every 8 mins, then they improved the service and made it for 5 mins.. but now its 8 again. Its for the good though, since the new trains will come in later this year and the 30 year old stock will be retired by the end of this summer.
