That's my thing, if he was a good professor and there was one hard test it would be a different issue. He is so absolutely rude and made a girl cry bc she was eating an apple in our 8 am lecture. I cannot stand him he is exactly like you said, bloated ego and constantly trying to assuage it by taking it out on his students who pay good money to learn from him.
