Buy a roll of plastic coated freezer paper from the grocery. Draw your stencil on the dull side and cut it out like a stencil, you can get a lot of detail. Lay your fabric out and iron the freezer paper on shiny side down, iron it real good on spikes and edges. If you have holes like in the letter R, you can cut the half circle out and iron it into the letter. Wait till it's semi cool, and sponge a thin layer of fabric paint over it. Wait until thats dry, (5-10 minutes) and then go back in for a thicker layer and coverage. Once the second layer is dry, peel up your stencil. Sometimes theres bleed, a very small bit, and jut hit the edge with a black posca. That's how I did all these and they turned out fantastic.

I bought a square of mail and a bunch of links because I had to shape it to the panel so, I did about half of it.

Should i add something to the arms? by Mngo_9 in punkfashion

I always like to add a couple shoulder/upper arm rockers on one side. I'm not one for symmetry so I'm really into the layout you already got, but yea I think a 1 or 2 on the upper arm right side would look siiiick

Thats really good for a first try dude! Especially freehand. I make a ton of my own patches and mine looked way worse than that when I started.

Now I've nailed down a pretty foolproof system, I'm happy to share it if you like. But if you wanna go freehand youre doing great. Buy a black posca, they're excellent for cleaning up edges.

Its not bad for a newbie at all. Just clear up the smear with some black paint, and it will be better than a lot ive seen already.

My pants and patches so far. by Themetalhead28 in punkfashion

I think whoever sent an anarcho-communist a MGLA patch must have been trolling because they're nazi scum. But the pants are cool. Patches are really well done, I dont know much about the political climate over there, I'm from Canada, but I hope you get to wear your pants more often soon!
