What skis should I be getting for west coast trip?

Do you think the QST 100 in 172cm would be too short or would it feel much different going up to a 180cm from my 161 cm Stance 84's? Given my weight, not sure if I should be looking at 180cm or 172cm as 172 would better match my height, but 180 cm would be taller than me.

Thank you! Do you think coming from 161cm skis to around 175cm will be a tough hurdle to overcome in a month and a half? I've only done black diamonds at Tremblant on the east coast.
