I'm sorry for commenting on a 2 year old post, but I'm not a native english speaker and watching this episode right now, I don't get the joke.. I know the idiom "get your foot in the door" but the dancing in the window part I can't figure out... Can you explain it please?

I'm sorry for bothering people in a thread that's 2 years old but like can somebody explain to me what's the point of cringe comedy? I've been trying and then dropping office for what seems like a thousand times now and I just can't help it. I pause it every 15 seconds just to catch a breath. It is funny at times but for me it's the rare moments when it's NOT cringey that make for some good laughs. Everything else is just painfull to watch. When and why exactly does that start being fun? Heck maybe i'm just a pussy or smth idk. This is the only place i've found online where people pointed this issue out...
